Nigel grinned triumphantly and glanced at Nathan. “What do you think? Do you believe me now? If you believe me, send your wife to Rostrie Hill. I'll cast a spell on her to save her.”
Nathan scoffed, “What if the old woman is in cahoots with you? How about this? There are a few men sitting there. Why don't you see if you can take anything from them?”
Nigel looked toward where Nathan was pointing and saw the Elite Eight.
He frowned and shot a look at his companions.
Immediately, a man with a mustache crept toward Quinten and tried to steal his belongings.
Quinten sat in his seat expressionlessly and feigned ignorance.
The man touched Quinten's body and found something. He wanted to steal it but realized something was amiss.
He touched the thing again, and his face changed instantly.
It was a gun.
As if he had touched a poisonous snake, he withdrew his hand immediately and shot an alarmed look at Nigel to warn the latter to get away.
Nigel noticed his companion's anxious glance but did not understand the meaning behind it.
He thought his companion was anxious, as the latter did not manage to steal something.
He could not help but curse inwardly, Useless.
Thereafter, he gave a look to another companion who had a buzz cut.
The companion with the buzz cut understood Nigel's intentions. He did not get closer to the Elite Eight but to Nathan instead.
He had a clear thought process.
Nathan wanted Nigel to take the burly men's belongings through telekinesis. However, the men did not seem easy to be trifled with, and it would not be easy to steal their belongings.
Moreover, everyone's attention was on the burly men.
He decided to use it to his advantage and steal something from Nathan instead. Then Nathan would be amazed by it.
Therefore, the man with the buzz cut made his way to Nathan as everyone was distracted and placed his hand into the latter's pocket.
He did not get Nathan's wallet but found a document that seemed like a driver's license.
