Seeing that, Nigel's companions wanted to rush toward him.
However, the Elite Eight sitting near them suddenly stood up, pulled out their guns, and pointed at them before they could even move.
“Don't move!”
The charlatans blanched and instinctively raised their hands.
Some were so scared their legs were trembling, and they even wet their pants.
The passengers on the bus panicked as well.
Colin bellowed, “Everyone, don't panic. We're officers in plain clothes. They're charlatans, and we're here to arrest them.”
Although Colin and the Elite Eight were in plain clothes, they had upright postures and exuded the strong temperaments of soldiers.
The people immediately believed Colin's words and quietened down.
However, there were still people who were confused and could not help but asked, “Aren't they Wrigley's disciples? How could they be charlatans? Is there some kind of misunderstanding here?”
Nathan stood up and smiled. “There's no misunderstanding. They are indeed charlatans and in cahoots with Nigel. When he was performing, it was his companions who helped him steal your belongings so that he could accomplish the act and fool everyone.”
Upon hearing that, everyone came to a realization and started cursing Nigel and the others.
At that moment, Nigel was on his knees, holding Nathan's military ID. He did not dare to utter a single word.
Nathan walked over to Nigel and took back his identification document. “Lift your head.”
Nigel mustered his courage and lifted his head, looking at Nathan in fear.
“Tell everyone whether you're a charlatan,” Nathan said.
Nigel had seen Nathan's military ID. Knowing his identity, he did not dare to go against him.
He said tearfully, “My mentor and I are just charlatans. We lie that we're from the Oracles of Humility and make a living tricking those foolish followers.”
Everyone flew into an uproar again.
Nathan said, “Everyone should understand that the Oracles of Humility is a fraudulent organization. Don't get scammed by them again.”
With that, Nathan told Colin to call the police station nearby.
Not long after, police sirens could be heard, and a few police officers appeared to take Nigel and the others away.
