Salute to the General novel Chapter 330

Kylie knew of Nathan's true identity, so she was not exactly surprised or afraid at how he had so mercilessly killed all these men. He had probably walked over a river of bodies when he had still been fighting in the North.

The same could not be said for her parents.

The Tonkins couple was staring at him fearfully. They remembered all too well how they had been the reason Mr. Ortiz sent someone to try and break his legs.

Voice calm, Nathan informed them, "The kidnappers have been neutralized. We should leave first; they'll clean up here."

Not willing to remain here a second longer, the Tonkins nodded. "Okay!”

Hence, Nathan drove off with the Tonkins and left the rest of his men behind to take care of things.

Back at home, Benson and Leah had been waiting frantically for any form of news.

Seeing that Nathan had brought the family of three back safely, they could finally relax. "Thank God you guys are alright!"

Kylie snuck a peek at Nathan before replying in an admiring voice, "We're only alive thanks to Nathan. Without him, we would have died horribly."

Now that they were away from that horrifying place, the terror had disappeared from the Tonkins' hearts.

Not only that, but their gratitude toward him had also dissipated too!

In their eyes, the only reason they had gotten abducted today was all because of Nathan.

If it had not been for him p****** off somebody and making enemies, they would not have gone through this in the first place!

That was why their daughter's words had them scoffing loudly. They huffed, "He's the reason this has happened to us! Kylie, why are you thanking him? He should be apologizing to us instead!"

Astounded at her parents, Kylie exclaimed, "Mum, Dad, what's going on with you two?"

Nathan chuckled and graciously answered, "Hank and Prudence are not wrong. A lot of people were unhappy and jealous that the Cross Group had obtained the manufacturing rights to the liver cancer vaccine. There's no doubt that we have a lot of enemies because of that. I sincerely apologize for getting your family involved in this."
