Many of the leading paladins were instantly anxious, all exclaiming, “God King—”
Medille said in a deep voice, “A temporary retreat is only for a better attack next time. Temporary endurance does not equate to perpetual failure. I promise to all of you here that one day, I will bring about the destruction of Earth to avenge the fallen God Warriors and Gods.”
After that, he raised his voice and declared, “We can't do it now. Now is not the right time. Follow my orders and begin the retreat!”
The God Paladins, at last, had no objections.
The entire fleet of spaceships began to relay the God King's order to retreat.
Following closely, one spaceship after another began to retreat in an orderly manner, returning to Sirius.
On Earth, Hepburn led her subordinates to clean up the battlefield.
The vampires were all extraordinarily excited.
That was especially the case for the primordial vampires like Sinistral. They had always dreamed that one day, the vampires could defeat the Gods and let the Gods experience the feeling of being slaughtered.
None of them had expected victory that day.
Although it was accomplished under the guidance of a mysterious eight-winged vampire, it was still enough to thrill and excite them.
After Hepburn had cleared the battlefield, she turned around to share the fruits of victory with Nathan.
However, she suddenly realized that Nathan was nowhere to be seen.
Hence, she quickly called those around to ask about Nathan.
Everyone was talking at once, asking when the eight-winged elite had left without them noticing.
Only then did Hepburn realize that Nathan had slipped away quietly right after the battle ended to avoid revealing his identity. He took the opportunity to do that when everyone was distracted.
Meanwhile, Max, Sinistral, and the other vampires were completely unaware of the identity of the eight-winged vampire. They were still engrossed in discussing where that mysterious eight-winged elite could have possibly emerged from.
