Salute to the General novel Chapter 421

Nathan and Penny frowned at these words.

Ferlyn Smith was much more vocal. "What do you mean? What kind of service is this?" she raged.

The tea specialist, Yvonne Lou, said with her chin up, "These are our rules. If you can't afford good tea, you'll have to sit right outside the bathroom. Why are you acting like a queen when you're so broke?”

Ferlyn was beyond livid. "It's all your fault," she said to Penny. "Why did you order such cheap tea? You're embarrassing me."

After berating Penny and Nathan, she then declared to the tea specialist, "I want a pot of your finest tea—the kind that costs ten grand a pot!"

Yvonne was elated. "Really?"

"Of course," Ferlyn said smugly. "This table's too small for four people. Have them sit somewhere else."

The tea specialist nodded fervently with a smile. "Certainly."

Then, she turned to Nathan and Penny with a straight face. "Please move to one of the tables outside the bathroom. You can pick whichever you want."

Penny was furious, but Nathan asked calmly, "Why do we have to give up our seats? We were here first."

"That's because they ordered the most expensive tea," Yvonne retorted. "You, on the other hand, chose the cheapest one. Naturally, they deserve a better table."

Ferlyn and Theodore smirked at Nathan and Penny with glee.

Nathan remained calm. "Is ten grand for a pot of tea the most expensive thing you have on the menu? I thought it costs more to have your boss, Mary Sharp, brew someone's tea."
