Following behind Nathan was Thomas, Jack and a few other of his subordinates.
It turned out that Nathan remembered that he had left his jacket at Ivory Teahouse, and had arrived at the teahouse to get his jacket back from Mary.
After all, that jacket was a gift from Penny. As such, he had to get it back no matter what.
Trip Turner squinted his eyes as he sized Nathan up. "So, you are Nathan Cross?"
Nathan remained silent while he scanned the surroundings.
As his gaze landed on the dead bodies on the floor, including Wendy's and a few security guards', the man's expression darkened and a fiery glint appeared in his eyes.
Nathan stared at Trip Turner and said, "The Turner family really has a death wish. It seems like you have not taken my warning seriously."
Trip Turner sneered and raised his voice, "Warning? You mean your advice for us to quit our businesses completely and disappear within one month, and that my dad has to beg for your forgiveness personally? Haha, Nathan Cross, you think really highly of yourself huh? Tonight, I shall show you who calls the shots in the South!"
After taking a glance at Trip Turner and his men, Nathan chuckled aloud and said, "You guys?"
Trip Turner let out a cold harrumph, "Just my men alone is enough to kill you a hundred times over. Wraith!"
"At your service!" Wraith answered immediately after his name was called.
He proceeded to step forward. With a wicked smile on his face and a vicious glare in his eyes, Wraith walked towards Nathan Cross.
Wraith sneered menacingly, "B**tard, I'm going to dig your heart out for ambushing me!"
When he finished speaking, Wraith picked up his pace and dashed toward Nathan like a phantom.
His sharp fingers, which were like claws, were already extended and aiming towards Nathan's heart.
Mary, Samantha, and the rest couldn't help but gasp loudly. Some of them had even covered their eyes as they could not bear to look at the impending agonizing sight.
They were terrified of seeing Nathan's heart being dug out and swallowed by Wraith, suffering the same fate as Wayne.
