Salute to the General novel Chapter 455

Queenie was more concerned as to when her father would bring her onto the huge warship.

She was gazing at the warship from far away, especially at the largest Model 055 submarine chaser.

With her wide eyes, she asked him, "Papa, you said that you'd bring me to the ship and play. Can we go there now?”

Penny immediately cajoled her, "Queenie, Papa was just joking with you. We can't just board the ship."

However, Nathan carried his daughter and said, "All right, Papa will bring you to the ship to take a look."

He then turned and asked Penny's family, "Honey, would you all want to come for a visit to the ship?”

They all thought that he was merely wheedling a little kid. Hence, Benson and Leah remained silent while Penny rolled her eyes, "Just bring Queenie for a walk. We won't be joining you."

Nathan shrugged his shoulders, "All right then. I'll bring Queenie to the ship to fulfill her little dream.”

Penny and her parents thought that Nathan's idea of a visit was just to take a closer look at the ship to appease Queenie, so they did not follow.

However, Kylie's eyes rolled knowingly, and she caught up with Nathan and Queenie while saying, "Waiting for this event to start is making me bored. I'll go with them."

Penny reminded them, "As much as you are playing and appeasing Queenie, remember to come back when the event begins officially."

Nathan replied, "All right, I know what to do."

After that, he carried Queenie and left the VIP area together with Kylie, walking straight towards the navy harbor.

The navy harbor was completely guarded by armed soldiers. They did not recognize Nathan, so they were about to get him to go back when they saw him walking about.

However, at this very moment, the navy major, Charles, arrived.

He shouted at the soldiers, "Stop being rude!"

Then, he turned and smiled, "Mr. Cross, let me guide you to where you'd like to go to."

Nathan smiled, "My daughter would like to visit the warship. I wonder if it's convenient?"
