Salute to the General novel Chapter 582

The Smiths were frustrated. Wasn't Chris about to call his general for help to deploy some troops here?

Why did he call Nathan Cross instead?

Joey squinted and stared at Nathan's posse.

Someone approached him and whispered, "Mr. Lund, he's Nathan Cross, the beautiful lady beside him is the goddess of Channing, Penny Smith."

Upon hearing that, Joey cast his gaze on Penny.

Penny was wearing a tight, white dress. The fitting dress highlighted her natural curvature perfectly and made her look sexy and elegant, just like a white swan.

Joey gaped in admiration as he stared at Penny.

Afterward, Joey glared at Nathan and scoffed, "Haha. I thought you called some formidable general of some sorts. It turns out that your backup plan is Nathan

Cross!"

However, Chris, who was panicking just now, seemed poised now that Nathan was here.

He rubbed his injured chest and snorted. "Forget about my backup plan. The only thing you need to know right now is that you will regret your actions tonight."

He then ignored Joey and approached Nathan despite his crippling injuries. He greeted him politely and subserviently, "Mr.

Cross."

The Smiths were stunned. Why is Chris, who was capable of calling several thousand men to obliterate the Griffins, treating Nathan with so much respect?

Besides that, this was a life-and-death situation, so why did Chris not call his general for help? Why did he call Nathan instead? It couldn't be that Nathan was even more powerful than the general right?

Penny, who stood beside Nathan, seemed confused as well.
