Once a year, Horton would carry out a civil defense drill. Once the siren blared, the city would enter a state of emergency.
None of the citizens would be allowed on the streets. They would have to stay in their house.
Obviously, Tim, Jay, Oliver, and Phil were horrified as they couldn't grasp the situation.
Boom!
The deafening sound of several helicopters could be heard as they showed up above the air of Roxy Hotel.
The armed personnel took aim at Tim's men on the ground using machine guns attached to the helicopters.
In the meantime, a total of eight tanks showed up and surrounded Roxy Hotel.
Those were tanks designed for combats. They rushed all the way over to the hotel in an intimidating manner.
There was another fleet of fully armed offroad vehicles behind the tanks.
Tens of thousands of soldiers could be seen behind the off-road vehicles as well. They were equipped with rifles as they marched uniformly towards the direction of the hotel.
Before long, Roxy Hotel had been surrounded by armed forces.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Tim and his men's faces turned pale and haggard in the presence of the armed forces.
Finally, the trucks, the off-road vehicles, and the soldiers stopped in front of the hotel.
The commander of the said armed forces yelled and instructed, "Secure the perimeter of Roxy Hotel. No one is allowed to leave!" "Yes, sir!" Once the soldiers received the instruction, they moved immediately.
Within a few minutes, Roxy Hotel had been completely surrounded by armed forces.
The colonel of the said armed forces alighted the vehicle and marched into the hotel immediately.
Tim's men were petrified. They stepped aside and made a way for him.
The colonel rushed over to the side of Nathan, Liam, and those from the military immediately.
He stood in front of them and held his head high. The colonel saluted, "Hello, sir! The colonel of the East reporting for duty! We have entered the combat zone as instructed. Awaiting the next instruction, sir!"
Sir?
