Tyson looked as though he aged a decade!
Discontented, he glared at Nathan and said with his teeth gritted, "I underestimated you. Otherwise, I would have brought more men! I would not have been defeated this badly tonight."
Nathan looked at the man in front of him. This man is not willing to concede defeat!
In slight disbelief, Nathan informed him with a smile, "I already received a gift from you previously. So, I shall not accept this coffin anymore. I suggest you keep it for yourself!"
Tyson looked at Nathan suspiciously as he asked, "You received a gift from me previously? What do you mean?"
Nathan laughed lightly and waved towards Colin.
The latter immediately understood and fetched the calligraphy scroll. He unrolled it in front of Tyson.
The large strokes were unmistakable and wrote. The Nation's Asset.
As he saw this, Tyson felt his world collapse around him and his body went cold.
Widening his eyes, he blurted,
"This...This...This...Isn't this what I gave to Commander Lowe? The one that I asked him to pass to the General of the North?”
Lifting his gaze, he looked at Nathan in shock and asked with a shaking voice, "Why is this with you? Could...Could it be that you are the legendary General of the North?"
It was as though he fell into an abyss of despair once more. He thought that he was defeated tonight because he underestimated his enemy.
However, he finally understood!
Nathan Cross was the General of the North!
No wonder the leaders from the Eastern
Military District sided with him.
No wonder all of his men were terrifying and extraordinary fighters.
Tyson fell onto his knees and mumbled to himself repeatedly, "I should have thought of this..."
Coldly, Nathan pronounced, "Unfortunately, it is too late."
"Send Sir Brown on his way. Remember, let him die with dignity."
