In a brief moment, the wedding started and was followed by the banquet.
Nathan, Xander and all the other influential guests were in the banquet hall. Kenny personally entertained all of them.
Midway through, Kenny, together with his son and daughter-in-law, came to have a toast with Nathan and Penny.
A few other guests who knew Nathan's identity came to pay their respects too.

Penny felt anxious when she saw that Xander had ignored the mayor's advice and instructed Liam to ambush Nathan once he leaves the wedding place.
When others came to make a toast to Nathan, she was also obliged to drink. Before she knew it, she had drank more than ten glasses of wine.
By the time Nathan realized that Penny had drunk too much, she was already groggy and sprawled on the table.
He quickly got Kylie to watch over her.

Even Xander couldn't help but add, "I too am waiting for the General's arrival so that he can determine the authenticity of my scroll. Or else, some a**hole would keep insist that my scroll is fake."
Feeling awkward, Kenny cleared his throat and replied, "Mr. Lane, I think it's better you keep the scroll for yourself."
Xander knotted his eyebrows. "Mr. Wates, what's the meaning of this?”
"Have you been influenced by Nathan's nonsense and believe the scroll to be fake?"
With an irritated expression, Kenny insisted, "If Nathan says that it's a fake, then it is definitely not the General's handwriting.”
When the guests heard what Kenny said, they gave Xander a mocking look.
Meanwhile, Xander felt insulted when the gift he had spent so much money on was labeled as a fake.
He was furious to be humiliated in front of so many people, especially since many of them were prominent figures of Cledondale.
As he didn't dare show his displeasure towards Kenny, all his fury was directed at Nathan instead.
Glowering at Nathan, he confronted him,
