Scrambling to Be the Father of His Ex-Wife's Kid novel Chapter 2674

Nina gave us a lot of presents when she returned from her honeymoon. Marius also no longer needed to wear several hats after she came back. Life was good for a time.

He played with the gift Nina gave him in one hand and looked to be in good spirits. "Excellent, I can sleep from now on."

"You make it sound as if we abused you." Shannon threw a glance at Marius after she unpacked the presents.

Marius turned his gaze to me. "Sis Wan's gift looks more expensive. I want to see it."

Saying that, he came up to me and tried to touch my gift.

"I haven't even opened it yet. Is it really your turn?" I slapped the back of his hand.

Marius was aggrieved. "Then let me watch you open it."

"No. Nina said it's for Theo and me. So I'm gonna look at it back home."

"Friends are really nothing once people are in a relationship."

Hearing Marius' murmur, I glared at him. He seemed sensible enough and closed his mouth, saying nothing else.

Shannon suddenly yelled as if she recalled something. Marius and I turned to her simultaneously. "What's wrong?"

"Theo's assistant. Kyle—"

"Keith," I corrected her, seeing that she failed to recall his name.

"Ah, right. Keith." Shannon snapped her fingers and then made her way to my desk, saying, "I was in a bad mood yesterday and went shopping. But then I ran into him and Nibel at a coffee shop."

I frowned and pointed out "Why did you say you went shopping?"

"I was in a bad mood?"

"Yeah, why didn't you go with me since you were in a bad mood? Why did you go shopping alone?" I asked back.

Shannon waved her hand and said to me, "Is that really the important point? Is it not the fact that Keith shouldn't be meeting with Nibel?"
