I walked over to him. "I thought you went home?"
"Can't I come again?" He smiled and asked.
I was speechless. It was true.
"What do you want to eat? My stomach is growling." H e started the car and drove out.
It turned out that he was waiting for me to eat with him. I secretly rubbed my stomach that had just been filled and said, "I'm hungry too. Let's go for Japanese food!"
After entering the restaurant, I immediately regretted i t. Theo ordered a lot of dishes and kept putting food in my bowl. My stomach was hurting due to overeating.
When we got home, I touched my bloated stomach and dragged him outside for a few rounds before stopping.
Back inside, he's still hanging around my room like he did last night. "Why don't you go back to your room?" I asked him as I dried my hair.
"This is also my room." Then, he stood up and took the hairdryer to dry my hair. “You can't just dry your hair with a towel. You have to dry it with a dryer before you can sleep. Otherwise, you'll have a headache."
His voice was soft and gentle. For a moment, I thought
he was talking to Cindy.
Thinking about his current attitude, I hesitated. Was leaving like this the best arrangement for the child?
"Theo..."
"Yes. What is it?"
"Nothing... Thank you for blowing my hair." I wanted t o ask him why he wanted me to be in charge of the acquisition case. Did he want to keep me in the Grant Corporation or take the opportunity to kick me out?
"Go to sleep." He put the hairdryer down and reached out to pull me into his arms.
Unaccustomed to being held like this to sleep, I squirmed restlessly.
"If you move again, don't blame me for doing what I'm about to do to you." His eyes narrowed as he looked at me meaningfully.
Feeling an invisible and dangerous aura, I tactfully stopped struggling and obediently let him hug me.
