Scrambling to Be the Father of His Ex-Wife's Kid novel Chapter 643

I nodded. When I looked down at my right ankle, I saw that my ankle was also swollen.

"Do you know Theo?" He suddenly asked halfway through the journey.

I was stunned. "Do I look like someone who knows a big shot like that?"

He pursed his lips and said very seriously, "Yes."

After a pause, he said again, "He was staring at you earlier, and the way he looked at you didn't seem right."

I lowered my gaze and said with a smile, "It might be because I'm so attractive."

Fred was amused by me. "You really dare to say it."

When I got home, I put on the band-aid that I bought and then lay on the sofa to take a rest.

I did not expect that I would fall asleep but I soon heard a knock on the door and woke up from my dream.

My face felt slightly itchy, and I learned that there were tear streaks on my face when I raised my hand t o touch it.

I had not cried for a long time. It had also been a long

while since I dreamed of that child.

I held that child in my dream again, and the touch felt so real.

The person outside the door was still knocking. I wiped the tears away from my face and got up to open the door.

When I opened it, I was stunned when I saw the person standing outside the door.

Theo's upright posture was facing the light, and there was no smile on his face. His dark gaze was as deep and clear as ever.

His Adam's apple bobbed when he saw me. There were unspeakable complex emotions in his gaze.
