Seriously, You Are Mine novel Chapter 240

It had been a long time since he had not returned to the country. Jeff Harris also wanted to feel the atmosphere of the domestic city. He drove back to their old house. It was not demolished, but it was surrounded by high-rise buildings. He decided to fix it up and renew it for his grandparents to live. After all, they were old, and it would be a comfort for them to be able to return to their old residence.

Jeff Harris walked in the long grassy garden. Since he had been abroad, and he also neglected to tidy the garden, now it seemed like a wasteland.

"Mummy... Mummy..." Suddenly, a young child's voice came out of the garden.

Right away, Jeff Harris's footsteps immediately paused. He squinted. Was his illusion? Why did he hear a child's cry in his house yard?

"Mummy... Where are you?!" The little girl's voice was clear, even though it was a little vague but he understood her words.

Jeff Harris felt cold at his back. This voice was not from the outside but the center of his yard. Even though it was a day, in such a grassy yard, he suddenly heard this voice of a kid, which was still very strange.

The outside of his yard was surrounded by iron bars and was surrounded by high walls. How could there be a child? It was locked all year round, and definitely wouldn't let anyone take the opportunity to run in to live.

Therefore, this sudden child's voice surprised him.

Jeff Harris heard the sound of a child's footsteps and the child's sobbing because of panic. The voice was very soft. It felt like a very young child.

Listening to the voice, Jeff Harris hurriedly chased the direction of the child. No matter what, this was his place. He would never allow anyone to be in trouble here.

Jeff Harris finally saw the figure of a little fellow and she ran through the grass. She was very young, probably only three or four years old. She ran over in a flash.

Jeff Harris did not believe that there was any ghost in the world, so even if it was a century-old house, he would never believe that such a ghost event would happen. So he was sure that this child in the garden was just a living child.

However, this little fellow had been looking for an adult. She ran very fast. Suddenly in a direction on his left, the child's crying sounded loud. It was definitely a frightening and uneasy cry, like an abandoned orphan.

Based on the child's crying, Jeff Harris finally found this little guy who had been playing hide-and -seek with him for a while.

When he saw the tender and fleshy little guy in a pink princess in the sunlight, his pupils suddenly shrunk. This was clearly not an orphan-like child. This was a very cute and beautiful little girl.

At this moment, when the little guy heard someone behind her, she immediately shouted in surprise with a sobbing voice, "Mummy..."

Jeff Harris watched the little guy crying with her face wrinkled, and he was shocked. Who would leave such a weak little guy in his yard?

When the little guy saw that he was not her mummy, but a tall uncle, she was so frightened that her tears stopped. Without wrinkling her little face, her beautiful and tender facial features appeared.

She had teary diamond-like eyes, a pretty nose, a pink heart-shaped mouth, and a very cute braided hair, which was simply a little angel.

And what struck Jeff Harris's heart fiercely was that this was clearly an unfamiliar little girl. But why did her little face resemble his in some way?

Whose child was this? Jeff Harris felt shocked in his heat. He walked in front of the little guy, crouched down, and looked at the little girl who looked at him calmly.

The little guy blinked her big watery eyes and looked at him. Her eyes were filled with surprise as if there was a happy expression.
