Chapter 277
Lizetta was panting, her face flushed with color,
She felt like she was suffocating from his kisses, her head swimming, unable to think straight.
He was so rough, Lizetta worried he’d just go at it without a care, potentially hurting the baby.
But she also vividly remembered the last time, in a fit of rage against Evelina, she lost control with him, and the next day he made her take the morning–after pill.
He’d even said, if she got pregnant, they’d get rid of it.
She could still clearly recall his furrowed, fierce brows and the seriousness and chill in his eyes.
Lizetta didn’t dare gamble!
She couldn’t afford to bet, she absolutely couldn’t tell Remington.
He didn’t want her baby at all; he was hell–bent on taking precautions every single time.
If he found out she was pregnant, he’d definitely force her onto the operating table.
Just thinking about that scenario drained the color from Lizetta’s face, turning it pale.
She defiantly glared at Remington, “No reason, we’re divorced! We can’t do this anymore, besides, this is in a car, for heaven’s sake, get a grip, please, I don’t want this!”
However, Lizetta’s tough talk couldn’t elicit any sympathy from Remington.
It only fanned the flames of anger burning within Remington.
Remington lifted her chin with his hand, his voice cold as he said, “Lizetta, do you really think I’m bluffing? Very well!”
With that, he gave a forceful kick to the partition of the driver’s compartment.
Lizetta immediately felt the car swerve, the ride becoming bumpier.
Then he flipped their positions, Lizetta on top, Remington underneath.
But the change in position didn’t make things any easier for Lizetta, as she turned her head to see they had left the main road for a side path.
They were on a bumpy slope leading to a desolate forest, the road uneven.
With each jolt, Lizetta’s body uncontrollably crashed against his.
Her face red and in a panic, she exclaimed, “Remington, you jerk, if you’re that horny, go find someone else!”
He sneered coldly, “Eager to push me away before the ink on our divorce papers dries? Telling me to find another woman, who are you planning to run to? Hogan? Or some other man, huh?”
His voice carried anger, his eyes piercing with a cold glint.
He was thinking of Lizetta having Hogan cover for her, planning to go to Veridia to study with him.
He was thinking of her desperate attempts to divorce him, of her repeated secrecy, and even now refusing to tell him about her pregnancy, he couldn’t help but let his violent temper flare, couldn’t help but ponder

deeply.
She wouldn’t say it was it because she never intended to keep the baby?
Was she planning to get rid of the child once abroad, to frolic with some other man?
Because she simply didn’t care about the baby, that’s why she could remain silent even under such
pressure.
Or, was she worried that once he knew about their baby, he’d never let her go?
The car stopped in the woods, the sound of the driver getting out and walking away came through.
