Wilma was still struggling, her voice tinged with a mix of fear and defiance, “Mrs. Lizetta Dashiell, it’s Mrs. Hanna Dashiell who sent me! After all, you’ve been with the Dashiell family for over twenty years. You’ve practically watched Mr. Remington Dashiell grow up.” 

Yolanda made a show of clenching her fist, and Wilma instantly fell silent. 

Lizetta, holding the thermos, suddenly had a change of heart. She walked towards a delivery guy who seemed unsure whether to approach or not, handed him the bottle, and gave him 50 bucks. 

“Could you please deliver this to the Starlight Group for me?” 

50 bucks for a single delivery was a good deal. Besides, the guy had seen the whole scene where Yolanda. had beaten those people up. 

With Yolanda still glaring menacingly behind Lizetta, the delivery guy quickly made the smart choice. 

Watching him leave with the soup, Yolanda blinked, “You’re sending the soup to Badass Remington?” 

Lizetta nodded, “It’s a pretty good soup. He’s getting it more than he deserves.” 

Dumping the soup on Wilma’s head would just provoke Hanna to probably send even more people tomorrow. Better to send it to Remington and be done with it. 

To ensure Remington got the soup, Lizetta got into her car and unblocked his WhatsApp, sending him a 

message. 

[Delivery for you: nutritious soup at the front desk. Please sign for it.] 

After sending the message, she blocked him again. 

The Starlight Group, CEO’s office. 

The atmosphere was tense that morning. While Remington wasn’t the type to lose his temper with his staff, the chill he radiated had already made many senior executives tremble as they left his presence. 

Seeing Lizetta’s message, Remington almost couldn’t believe his eyes. Once he read the message clearly, the icy expression on his face slowly began to thaw. He managed to keep a straight face and immediately asked Cedric to wait in the lobby. 

Half an hour later, Cedric came up with the thermos and placed it in front of Remington. 

The moment Remington opened it, his lips, which rarely showed any emotion, couldn’t help but curve up- slightly. 

“Mrs. Dashiell must have heard about the injury you got yesterday and specially made this nourishing soup. I’ll serve some to you, Boss. If Mrs. Dashiell sees you’ve finished it, surely she’ll cool down.” 

Seeing Remington’s mood brighten, Cedric also heaved a sigh of relief and smiled broadly as he served the soup. 

Remington took it as a peace offering from Lizetta and happily finished every drop. However, that was when Hanna’s complaining call came through.
