Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1115

He thought that kick was considered a punishment for Sabrina, to make her stay in her shack today and reflect on her actions and realize what she did wrong. I f she still stared intensely at someone like that, then h e would have to teach her a lesson.

Early the next morning, Lincoln went to the shack where Sabrina stayed, took ten dollars out of his pocket, and handed it to her. "This is for you. Take it."

Sabrina looked at him but did not take the money.

He threw the money on the ground in front of her, and asked, "Do you know what you did wrong?"

Sabrina lowered her head but did not speak.

"Take this ten dollars and buy yourself a good breakfast," Lincoln said in a tone that sounded as if he both detested her and treated her like a charity case.

Sabrina did not take the money.

She took up wordlessly and walked past him, heading to school, not even bothering to take a single glance at him.

She starved that morning and the night before. Not only was she starving, but she also had to endure the pain of being kicked by Lincoln.

But back then Sabrina did not know that Lincoln was cursing as he looked at her retreating back, slowly

fumbling away. "Do I owe you anything! Do I owe you anything, huh! I gave you life and still, I owe you something! Look at you, you look as if your father just died, but I’m still alive right here! You can't wait for m e to die, can’t you!"

Since then, Lincoln hated Sabrina more and more.

Even though she was his own flesh and blood, every time he saw her, he wished he could kill her with a single, swift kick. Behind her back, Lincoln called Sabrina so many nasty names.

All along, Lincoln thought, so what if she was his own daughter? If she was not filial to him, if she was not likable, if she looked like she wanted to kill him all the time, then she was nothing compared to his adopted daughter. 1

His adopted daughter was almost perfect. She appreciated him and had a sweet mouth on her. Even i f she did not perform well in school, even if she was a spendthrift, Lincoln was completely willing to raise her!
