It was only when it was slightly past the time Sabrina was supposed to head back to work, did she leave the hospital.
Thankfully, no one caused any trouble for the rest of the afternoon.
When work was about to end, a designer who was helping the director to manage the department, called out to Sabrina. "Sabrina, from tomorrow onward, you can skip coming to the office for a week. Head to the construction site, we need people there."
Sabrina nodde. "Okay."
She was actually very willing to go to the construction site. The work there might be harder and more tiring, but it was not taxing to her heart.
Besides, they gave huge portions of food at the site. As she had a child in her belly, she needed to eat a lot. However, if she went to the construction site, it meant she would not have the time to visit Aunt Grace in the afternoon.
After leaving work, Sabrina immediately rushed to the hospital. She felt like since it was late, there would not be any guests visiting Aunt Grace. She looked forward to keeping Grace company and to chat with her.
When she arrived at the ward, she saw Sebastian sitting by Grace’s bedside. He had his mother's hand
held in his own. Grace's body was still full of tubes, and she was still unconscious. Sabrina did not dare to enter.
She suddenly felt like it was possible that Grace no longer needed her from that moment on. More accurately, Sebastian would no longer need her to keep Aunt Grace company.
Sabrina was filled with sadness. She might not even have the chance to say her final farewells to Aunt Grace. Feeling extremely down, Sabrina was just about to leave the ward when she saw Kingston stand behind her.
Sabrina acted like she did not know him, brushing past him and not sparing him a glance.
She knew that when Sebastian had liked her, she was Mrs Ford in Sebastian’s eyes. On the other hand, now that Sebastian hated her and wanted to kill her, she was nothing to Kingston. Not even strangers on the streets.
