Nigel raised his eyebrows as he smiled. "I have no other choice. In South City, what kind of girl have I not tried to chase before? I'm tired of it all! Take Mindy, Shaw family's princess?”
"To tell you the truth, Zayn, do you like women like Mindy?"
"Always hypocritical and arrogant, and you can't even touch her. It would be fine if she really was from the Shaw family, but she's just from the Mann family and was raised in the Shaw family. I get so tired and frustrated when I see her pretentiousness!”
Zayn was speechless.
Nigel acted like he was hard at work at the construction site the entire day. When work ended for the day, he saw Sabrina’s depressed silhouette walking toward him from the distant site. Nigel once again started earnestly working as Sabrina was passing by.
A few subordinates surrounded Nigel, seemingly asking him about things.
When Sabrina walked past Nigel, who ignored her, focusing on his work. Sabrina looked like she wanted t o say something. She opened her mouth, but then hesitated and closed it again, before heading to the bus stop.
Luckily, the bus arrived the moment she reached the bus stop. Nigel and Zayn started the car and followed Sabrina's bus. Expectedly, Sabrina headed straight to the hospital.
It was the evening, and Aunt Grace's ward was very quiet. She did not know if Grace was asleep or still unconscious. Hiding outside the ward, Sabrina could only see that Sabrina's entire body was filled with tubes and bags that were dripping water. 5
In front of Grace’s bed was Sebastian. He was still in his suit, leaning over as he lay on his mother's bed. Sabrina did not dare to enter, neither did she dare to mention their contract to Sebastian. 1
However, Sabrina was not willing to leave Grace after not being able to for two days. She stood outside and quietly looked on, until a doctor entered the ward. He told Sebastian, "Young Master Ford, we really have to get the madam into the sterile control room. Her fever gets much worse in the middle of the night. Even if you remain here through the night, there will be nothing you can do. Why don't you head back and rest? Once you're all rested, you can take care of the madam with more energy during the day." 1
Listening to the doctor’s words, Sebastian stood up and rapsily said, "Alright, thank you, doctor."
After that, he looked deeply at his mother before grabbing his suit to leave.
Sabrina, who had been hiding outside, quickly ran out of the hospital. She did not want Sebastian to see her, nor did she want Sebastian to know that she had been here.
She ran outside frantically, looking back to check if Sebastian saw her. In her panic, she ran into someone.
Sabrina turned to look and saw that she ran into a sixty-odd year old man who was quite large.
“I-I'm sorry, old man, I didn't do it on purpose." Sabrina apologized.
The old man's eyebrows shot up, looking at Sabrina fiercely as his sweaty hands grabbed onto Sabrina's arms. He yelled, "Little girl, what did you call me?!"
Sabrina was so shocked. She struggled, trying to get his grasp off her. "Who...who are you?! Let me go!"
