Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1166

In the grand and luxurious hotel, Noah was standing inside, looking happy and healthy. Meanwhile, his mother stood crouched outside. Due to her many years of hard work, she could barely straighten her waist now. Just like that, she supported herself on the stairs outside the hotel, looking in with eyes full of longing and happiness.

At that moment, Noah felt as if knives were slicing through his heart. He suddenly felt, it was not as easy as it seemed. Marrying into a rich family was not as easy as it seemed. The disdain and disregard they had for him was deeply ingrained in their bones. It could not be changed. Even though he was now being admired by many, deep down, he was in so much more pain and suffering compared to when he was still a poor young man.

The second he saw his mother, she gave him an incredibly warm and comforting smile, then turned to leave. His mother was already very, very, happy. She had heard the stories of many well-educated young men who abandoned their poor parents once they got married in the big city. But her son had called her personally. He had no choice but to do so because he did not want to hurt his wife. The old lady was already content.

The last half of the wedding was torture for Noah. He did not know how he made it through. Whether it was

the toast or any other portions of the wedding, he remained absent-minded as ever. Of course his wife would notice such an obvious change in his behavior.

After the wedding, she exploded. "Noah Hill! What happened to you! You caused trouble during my wedding. You think you’re so strong and powerful, don't you!"

Even the son that his wife gave birth to with her exboyfriend, he had already addressed him as ’Daddy’ but right now, the nearly three-year-old boy stuck a hand on his waist and roared at Noah in anger, "Noah Hill! If you're not willing to become my Mom’s husband, then you can't be my Daddy too. Get out right now!" 1

Noah was dumbfounded. His wife, on the other hand, hugged her son and kissed him nonstop. "Oh, my son, you're brilliant! You’re just three years old and yet you're already my best supporter! Son, I'm so happy to have you in my life!"

His wife and stepson both glared at Noah, their eyes wide with anger. Noah was incredibly miserable, almost depressed. "My mother came."

His wife reacted immediately. "Where, where is she? Since she’s here, why didn't she come in? How much bride token did she bring me? If she didn't bring us as much as my family gave us, then ask her to get out!"

Seeing his wife’s overwhelming sense of superiority, her insufferable arrogance, even though she was a handicap, Noah suddenly realized that by marrying into her family, her family still felt as if they were the ones on the losing end of this bargain. Even though their daughter was handicapped and even though she had a son from a previous relationship, Noah had poured all his time and effort into managing the factory, increasing its profits.

In the eyes of his wife’s family, he had to abandon his entire past and everything related to it, including his own mother. He had to throw himself, his heart, his body, and his soul into his wife's family. Everything would revolve around her family. Only then did he deserve the honor they bestowed upon him.

At that moment, Noah turned to leave. Before he left, h e said lightly, "I want a divorce! Abort the baby! If you don't want to, I’ll raise him after you give birth to him! I won’t take a single cent of your family's money, I won't work here in South City either.”

His wife's mouth fell open.

"Now I finally understand why your ex-boyfriend abandoned you, because you're mentally sick!" Noah was not a pushover either. After saying his piece, he left without a moment's hesitation.
