Noah's son performed well in school, was obedient, sensible, and had a good temper. He was very different from their eldest son. Their eldest son was three and a half years older than his younger brother. After graduating from junior high school, he had dropped out of school and started mixing with the wrong crowd. Noah wanted to discipline him strictly, but every time, he was stopped by his wife. Even so, his eldest son always thought that his entire family preferred his younger brother. His paternal grandmother always regarded his younger brother as her precious treasure. Meanwhile, his maternal grandparents also complimented his brother for his good academic results whenever they were in public. Even his mother, who always preferred him, was proud of his brother.
The eighteen, nineteen-year-old teenager was at his most rebellious age. The next day after his brother got into the best high school in South City, he lifted a knife and stabbed his brother more than ten times. When the doctor and the ambulance arrived, his brother had lost all signs of life. He was sent directly t o the police station. The elder brother was already eighteen and a half, and he was fully liable for his crime. The Dean family initially had two boys but in a n instant, they had lost both of them.
When the Dean family was drowning in despair,
several times Noah and his mother cried until they fainted. However, Noah and his mother, who fainted, were both chased out of the house by the Dean family.
His father-in-law pointed at him and roared, "You ungrateful prick, you monster! What kind of a stepfather are you! You promised you would treat both children equally, but you only loved your own son. If the child did not feel safe at home, did not feel as if he did not belong, he would never do such a thing!"
His wife also pointed her finger at him and screamed," Noah Hill, I want a divorce! I want a divorce, from this day onward, get out and never come back! You destroyed both of my sons, both of them!"
Wrapped up in anguish, Noah was so furious he wished he could beat up his wife and in-laws, breaking their heads into two. But he still had to take care of his old mother. He could not act rashly.
"Let's divorce!" Even when he was immersed in such overwhelming pain, Noah felt as if he was finally free. The divorce papers were swiftly signed. Noah left the marriage with nothing.
After wasting almost twenty years of his life, Noah turned into a forty-year-old middle-aged man.
Laboring in the Dean family for seventeen or eighteen years, but in the end, he had nothing. He left the marriage with his hands empty. But Noah did not regret it at all. He had lost his own son, what was the point of having all that wealth and riches?
However, the day he walked out of City Hall, his mother was waiting for him outside. Well into her seventies, his mother's back was hunched like a monkey’s, only half the height of a normal adult. She stood in front of Willow and the rest of the Dean family, and screamed at the top of her lungs, "Your entire family are devils, blood-sucking devils! Look what you did to my son! Devils...”
Devils? Ha!
Willow looked at Noah’s mother frivolously. "You old hag! You were a servant in our house for seventeen or eighteen years and yet you didn't get a single cent, haha! You feel like crying in regret, right? But didn't you do this willingly, you old hag? This is exactly what it means by throwing yourself into other people's shit! That is exactly what you did! You voluntarily came to my house to be my servant, a free one at that. You voluntarily served me, you voluntarily served my two sons! You old hag, you're the bearer of misfortune! You caused the deaths of both my sons!"
"Bang!" Noah raised his fist and landed it heavily on Willow’s cheek. The impact was so strong that three of her teeth were knocked out of her gums. Still, he was furious. He slapped her sharply on her right cheek, so hard that she spat blood.
They were standing right in front of City Hall, on the main streets. Within five minutes, Noah was led away by the police. He had to take criminal responsibility for his actions.
