Sebastian desperately wanted to slap Sean. However, Sean was right. Sebastian’s mother did wish to see Sean one last time. Speaking of his mother, Sebastian could not help but become soft-hearted.
With a deep and cold voice, he informed his father of the specific address for his mother's grave over the phone. Over on the other end, Sean let out a deep sigh. Going to take Grace’s grave to have a look was a decision made after he and Rose had discussed it for a day. Too many things have happened recently. Sean kept feeling that there were some things that he just did not know. For example, Old Master Shaw and Sebastian seemed to have been hiding something from him, and the matter should be related to Star Island. However, no matter how he asked Old Master Shaw, he just would not tell him.
What exactly had Old Master Shaw meant? Sean had n o idea. Just a moment ago, he bit the bullet and made a call to Old Master Shaw. Over on the other end of the line, Old Master Shaw's voice was incomparably mellow and very weak, but each and every word was spoken very clearly. "Sean! You and I are guilty men, d o you know that?"
Sean was speechless.
"In my lifetime, I had always felt that the person I cannot fail the most is my wife. As long as I have
achieved that, only then will I truly be a good man.
However, Sean, have you thought about it? How wronged were those women who had been hurt by us? Whether it's my Goldie or your Grace, what have they done wrong? Grace did not seduce you, but you ruined her life instead. Not only that, you even let her and her own flesh and blood..." Old Master Shaw suddenly paused mid-sentence.
He coughed for a long while, then he said, "In short, the person that you should be most sorry for is Grace."
Upon saying that, Old Master Shaw then hung up the phone. However, Sean was more and more uncertain i n his heart. What was the meaning of the last sentence said by the old man just now? He could no longer drag it on any further. He had to pay a visit to Grace's grave.
In fact, Sean actually had a place for Grace deep down i n his heart. Sean had been very generous with his love when he was young, and he had a love for all the delicate little flowers when he saw them. He could not even count the number of girls he had left on his bed.
However, Grace was the one who impressed him the most. It was particularly so when Grace called him hubby in an extremely helpless manner with tears in her eyes. The way she called out could simply melt his heart. However, Sean had married a very powerful wife. Not only did his wife give birth to a few sons for him, but she also could give him a helping hand in his career. Therefore, although Sean loved to play with women his whole life, he was also most afraid of his own wife, Rose. Especially when those few sons of his died tragically one after another and he had gotten older, he felt that his wife was even more precious then.
There was a saying that no matter how many lovers some kind of man had out there, the position of his wife would still remain strong in his heart. That was talking about such a man like him. Besides, Grace was a woman who had already passed away. So much so that after so many years, Sean had only visited Grace's grave once when he had just returned from abroad. Also, he did not even know how to get there.
After he had asked Sebastian for the route, both Sean and Rose went to Grace's grave with a complicated state of mind. It was drizzling when they entered the cemetery. Right at the moment when they saw Grace's tombstone, both Sean and Rose saw at the same time that there was a man in black who was actually lying i n front of the tombstone. To be more specific, there was a man in black sleeping there. 1
Who could it be?
Their bodyguard went up to check. "Old director, this person is as drunk as a skunk."
Upon saying that, the bodyguard then flipped the man over so that his face was facing Sean.
Sean and Rose were both stunned. "It's him!”
