Under the fine drizzle, Grace's grave seemed even more desolate.
There was a man as drunk as a skunk lying in front of her pitch-black tombstone, and that man was unexpectedly Holden Payne. The big bouquet in front o f him seemed to be dewier after it was drenched by the fine drizzles. However, that cool tone of the flower gave people an incomparably miserable feeling.
Those flowers were right in front of Holden. In fact, he had actually been holding them in his hand and he just could not bear to let it go. However, he was flipped over by the bodyguards, so his grip was released. That bouquet appeared to be lonely laying on top of the black marble.
Sean, who was watching all that at the bottom of the steps, was even more confused.
"Why would he come to Grace’s grave? Who exactly is this man?" Some sort of confusion started to emerge i n Rose's mind. After all, she was a woman, so it was only natural for her to be more sensitive. Rose could relate to that as every time Holden came to harass Sean and herself, he had actually only beaten her up, and had never hit Sean once. Then she recalled that h e was the fourth son of the Payne family from Star Island. His age appeared to be almost the same as Sebastian.
Rose was startled, then she immediately instructed the bodyguard. "Turn his head to an upright position and wipe off the rain on his face. Let me look at him carefully.”
Hearing his wife's voice trembling, Sean was also stunned. The bodyguard put Holden into an upright position, and then wiped off the rain on his face.
Perhaps it was uncomfortable to be flipped around by others like this, Holden finally moved a little. After that, he opened his eyes. 1
The first person he saw was Sean. In an instant, Holden's eyes widened.
He looked at Sean with a pair of bloodshot eyes. "You... you old geezer! Why...why are you here? How did you get here? How bold of you to come! Get the hell away! Get lost!"
Upon saying that, Holden then raised his leg and kicked Sean as if he had gone mad.
Unfortunately, Sean was protected by his bodyguard and Holden was still drunk, so Holden did not manage to kick Sean.
Sean was supported by his bodyguard. After recovering slightly, he asked with incomparable confusion. "Holden Payne! You...you are not the fourth young master of the Payne family. Who the hell are you? Say it, who are you?"
Sean had a great suspicion and had a wave of intense anger that was almost going to erupt like a volcano!
Holden looked at Sean with a hazy and incomparably dejected gaze. He muttered in a self-mocking manner. "Who am I? Who am I? I...Who am I? Have you defined who I am for me? Since you have never defined who I a m, then what right do you have to ask me who I am? You old geezer! You tell me. You come and tell me! Come and tell me who I am! Why haven't you defined what my identity was? Why didn’t you tell me who I a m?” Holden grabbed Sean's clothes, and he shook him so hard that Sean’s aged skeletal structure almost fell apart.
Sean was speechless. Out of a sudden, Holden released Sean. Holden then turned his head around and saw that smile on the extremely clean tombstone that was drenched by the rain. That benevolent, amiable, elegant and beautiful smile. She had strands of white hair on her head. Her gaze was that gentle, and there was a kind of deep melancholy in that gentleness. She was so beautiful.
She was laid permanently in this tombstone.
Holden looked at the picture on the tombstone, then suddenly bawled. "You! Why must you die! Why didn't you wait for me to have a look at you before you die! How could you be this cruel! He was cruel! You are also cruel! You are all cruel! He asked me who I am. Who am I? I don't even know who I am. Come and tell me who I am!"
