The old lady's decision stunned Neo. Neo looked straight at the old lady without blinking. "D*mned old woman, you truly are very arrogant! Watch if I don't..."
Just as the old man was about to make a move, he turned around and saw that the old lady was holding a cleaver in her hand.
"It's just slaughtering pigs, right? I am a butcher's mother! I know how to do it!" The old lady looked at the old man with an expression as if she was looking a t a stranger.
Neo was shocked. He did not expect that the old lady was being serious. She returned to her room and wasted no time packing up all her things. It was just a duffel bag full.
"It's all of my clothes in this bag and nothing else," said the old lady. She left after that. She had already thought it through. She had stolen fifty thousand dollars from the old man to pay for the grandson's tuition fee, so she wouldn't mind going to jail. After she had left that house, the old lady found a hotel and stayed here.
The following day, she waited for two hours at the city hall. When she saw that the staff were about to clock out, the old lady then made a call to Neo. "Why haven't you come to process our divorce?"
On the other end of the line, Neo was a little panicked. "You...you truly want to divorce me?"
"Have you gone nuts?" said the old lady patiently.
Neo ignored the question. "You won’t even have a place to stay if you divorce me, so why are you being s o arrogant?"
"Does it matter to you whether I have a place to stay or not?" asked the old lady in return.
