He had Kingston take her to a Michelin-starred restaurant for steak made explicitly for children. He even had the best designers in the industry prepare a n outfit for her, and the only thing he had received in return was being called "Stinky Daddy”.

"Ya," Sebastian responded in resignation. At least Aino used the word "daddy". It was an improvement from "Stinky Bum".

"Is your mother asleep?" He proceeded to ask. Aino nodded.

"Then you are going to sleep by yourself. You are a big girl now. You need to start learning to be independent and sleep without company!" Sebastian deadpanned. A father's way of educating his children was destined t o be different from that of mothers.

"Okay..." Aino was surprisingly obedient to her father's order, but when he picked up Sabrina and turned to leave, Aino seemed worried and asked hastily, "Stinky...daddy, where are you taking my mommy?"

"You need sleep, so does your mother," Sebastian explained impatiently.

"Don't you dare bother my mommy!"

"You wouldn't even be here if I hadn't bothered her," Sabastian retorted.

Aino wanted to ask what her father had meant by that but was distracted when she saw her mother wrapping her arms unconsciously around Sebastian's neck.

"I don't want to think about anything, I don't care anymore. I'm living everyday like it's my last day, just let me die in your arms, please?" Sabrina murmured. I n her dreams, she could not escape Sebastian no matter how hard she tried. She feared not the possibility of him hurting her but the way he made her lose herself.

Sebastian did not utter a word in response but tightened his arms around her before walking towards his bedroom.
