Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 258

It was at that moment that Sabrina noticed the way he tensed his muscles like he was trying to hold his breath, and his temperature was going up. Sabrina was worried that he might be coming down with a fever. She immediately asked, "What...What's wrong with you?"

"Stop moving!" He barked.

"Are you ill? Should we go to the doctor? I...I couldn't move you by myself."

Sebastian rose wordlessly and moved across Sabrina to get off the bed. Instantly, Sabrina gaped at the sight before her. The man was completely naked, and yet he was entirely at ease when he stepped off the bed and into his slippers in front of Sabrina, whereas Sabrina was flushed from head to toes.

"It's nothing you had not seen before," He snorted and walked into the bathroom in his slippers, followed by a "bang!" on the door. 1

Sabrina wrapped herself tightly with the blanket and trembled in silence, thinking that he might pounce on her any second. She waited anxiously as two hours passed by without the man stepping out of the bathroom. The room was dead quiet except for the sound of running water in the shower.

Sabrina was far too nervous to go back to sleep, and so

she waited. Another half an hour had gone by until Sebastian finally emerged from the bathroom.

He was surrounded by a chilling fog like an ice object being placed at room temperature, and Sabrina could almost feel it on her skin despite having layers of blankets on her. Without a word of warning, Sebastian was back onto the bed and was pulling Sabrina towards him.

"Urgh..." Sabrina jumped miserably at the freezing body next to her and whined, "Cold...Your...Your body i s so cold."

"You had no one else to blame for this but yourself!" Sebastian snorted. As if he wasn't cold! Of course, he was! It was torture to have her in his arms without being able to do anything about it. However, whenever he thought back to what he saw back at his office, all those bruises and abrades on her were appalling.
