"I guess there's nothing bad about surrendering. I misunderstood you, at least you aren't cruel with my daughter. I'm happy as long as my daughter gets to go to kindergarten and accept education like all the other kids. I don't want to overthink this anymore, I will do whatever you ask of me from now on, my life is in your hands," Sabrina drawled with a low voice, almost like she had given up on struggling, as she nestled into Sebastian's arms. In truth, she wanted to say that she had accepted her fate and would be the companion to anyone Sebastian sent her to. Se would follow the man for the rest of her life if that's what he wanted. She simply didn't have any fight left in her, when she was exhausted both spiritually and physically. If there was never a chance that she could escape the man to begin with, why would she wrestle with him? She might as well be the horrible woman everyone thought her to be and enjoy every moment of happiness as much as she could in Sebastian's arms. 1
His chest was warm and lined with powerful muscles and Sabrina couldn't help but rub against him as though she was trying to find the best spot to nestle i n. Sebastian felt a fire ignited from deep within him, s o overwhelming that it almost blinded him in an instant. It was at that very moment when his eyes met Kingston's, who was driving in the front seat and looking back at him through the rearview with awestruck eyes.
Kingston reluctantly met his master's eyes, feeling as i f he could just choke from the public display of affection.
"Gouge your eyes out," Sebastian deadpanned abruptly.
"Master, what...what did you say?"
"Gouge your eyes out and throw them out the window! " Sebastian repeated.
"Um, Master Sebastian, I..." Kingston immediately tore his eyes from the rearview mirror and focused on his front. "I can't exactly gouge my eyes out now, I won't b e able to drive if I do that. What would happen to you and Mrs. Ford then? Let...let me just drive you to where you need to be, and then I could pluck my eyes out, is that okay?"
Kingston's tone was sincere, sounding nothing like he was teasing, but Sabrina flushed in response regardless. She had been caught up in the moment and forgotten that they were not alone. Kingston's words had thrown Sabrina so deep into embarrassment that she couldn't bring herself to lift her head up from Sebastian's chest for the rest of the journey. She hid within the safety of Sebastian's arms until they were back to his place and Sebastian carried her off the car. What neither of them realized was that Selene was hidden in the shadow not far away, her eyes were filled with evil intention and viciousness. 1 "Sabrina Scott! Why won't you just die already! You are like the gum on shoes that I couldn't get rid of no matter how hard I've tried for the past six years!" She gritted out frantically as tears scrolled down her cheeks. "If it wasn't for you, I would have been married to Sebastian six years ago and our child would already be of age to study in kindergarten. But here you are, six years later, still alive and in the arms of my husband. Damn you! Damn you!" 4
Meanwhile, Sebastian carried Sabrina upstairs and set her down in the bedroom.
"Get some rest and remember to eat your lunch. I will have Kingston come and pick you up later at four," he reminded her calmly.
"Oh...are we going back to your office?" Sabrina asked curiously.
"No."
"Okay..." She decided to save the effort and not to ask about it. Who cared where she would be taken?
