Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 263

She didn't care, as long as her daughter got to go to school and they were alive, nothing else mattered to Sabrina. She felt like an elephant had lifted its leg off her chest once she had made peace with the current situation. After Sebastian left, she laid around on the bed lazily in different positions until she simply couldn't sleep anymore, and got up to head towards the bathroom for a bath. The bathtub Sebastian had in his bathroom was absurdly enormous with every single function possible installed that made it likely more luxurious than any other bathtub that could be found in high-class spas.

Sabrina sat alone in the bathtub on where Sebastian usually sits and indulged herself with the waves of lukewarm water that circulated from the bottom of the tub like a hot spring. She slowly closed her eyes as she sank into the wondrous experience, without realizing she was being watched.

Over in his office, Sebastian observed every single movement from the surveillance cameras he had set u p in his room. He did not mean to spy on Sabrina, he simply wanted to make sure that she followed his instruction to rest when he stumbled upon the scene.

He watched as she stepped out of the bathtub with water drops all over her body, after lazing around for about half an hour. She strolled around bare-footed on the carpeted floor as though she was admiring the

interior of his bedroom, with no intention of covering herself with a robe or towel. After looking at her fill, she proceeded to casually slide the doors of his closet open and pulled out one of his shirts, before putting it on.

Sebastian couldn't help but chuckle, she appeared to have taken a liking in wearing his shirts. Though he had to admit that his shirt looked alluring on her. He continued to watch as Sabrina walked towards the balcony in his shirt and laid on a rattan chair, rocking back and forth sluggishly. Her expression was relaxed and peaceful like a house cat that was used to being pampered, and as much as he tried, Sebastian simply couldn't bring himself to turn off the surveillance.

Sabrina returned to the bed after laying on the rattan chair for a while and continued to sleep until it was time for lunch.

"Mrs. Ford, your lunch is here," Aunt Lewis called as she knocked on the door.

"Okay..." Sabrina drawled. Her hair was still damp from the bath she had taken earlier, dripping slightly o n the shirt she was wearing. She was also wearing Sebastian dark-grey slippers, which were just about the right size for the man, but was adorably oversized when worn by Sabrina.

"Mrs. Ford, why don't you take a seat and dig in while I dry your hair for you? You should get some more sleep after lunch, but I should probably apply your ointment for you before that so your body could recover sooner," Aunt Lewis smiled gently.

"Okay, thank you," Sabrina responded obediently.

Her lunch was, again, delicacies that were carefully constructed without being heavily seasoned. Sabrina finished an incredible amount of food before going back to sleep until four in the evening, when Kingston came to pick her up as promised. She was then driven to a luxurious shop for gowns and taken to its VIP room, where Sebastian was already waiting with his legs crossed elegantly as he flipped through the pages of the catalogue for different patterns of gowns.

Sabrina instantly realized that he was picking out a gown for her.

Sabrina walked towards Sebastian and asked sweetly, "Are you taking me to see someone?"

'It's finally starting,’ she thought nervously. 1

"It's someone you have met before, Alex Poole."

"Alex Poole?" Sabrina responded gingerly. "The man I saw in your office yesterday?" She remembered exchanging a few words with that man.

"Ya."

"That man seemed picky, wouldn't he be disgusted by someone like me?" She blurted out.
