"Are you talking about her work or her personal matters? If you're talking about her work, Eevonne's performance in our company is favorable and her sales are outstanding. As for her personal matters, the Ford Group won't interfere with our staff's personal matters. I think that no company has the right to ask about other people's personal matters, right?" The director expressed his attitude very clearly to Dash.
Dash was stunned for a second. After a while, he said while feeling slightly unwilling to accept defeat. "Are you willing to give up on my clothing factory just to keep Eevonne?"
"We didn't say that we're giving up. As long as you're willing to collaborate with us, we still welcome you very much. However, our company would not be threatened by anybody on the outside, especially when it comes to protecting our own staff," stated the director again.
"Good! Great!" Dash sneered on the other end of the call.
The director did not question Dash about anything just because he sneered. Instead, he still asked with great patience, "Mister Long, what is the result after you've thought it over?"
"Of course, I will collaborate with you!" Dash said seriously over the phone. "The chance to collaborate with the Ford Group is something that we've fought for with all our might. How can we not collaborate with you? Otherwise, I would not have taken the train in the middle of the night to come over. To show you the sincerity of our company, we even waited for you an hour earlier than our agreed time. We've already done so much. If we don't collaborate with you, then wouldn't all of the efforts we've put in in advance be in vain?"
Dash, who was on the other end of the call, was very pragmatic.
"That's fantastic then." The director felt relieved. He lifted his head to look at Eevonne and raised his eyebrows at her. What he meant was that it was a done deal.
"Mister Long, I know that you and Eevonne from our company had a conflict. How about this? I'll get another person to liaise with your company. This way, it won't be awkward for both parties. Alright?" The director originally felt that he had already made a compromise with what he had just said. Besides, it was also for the sake of protecting Eevonne. Since Eevonne and Dash had such a conflict between them, then forcing them to liaise with each other would indeed make them feel disgusted. In the end, the work would often be affected. No matter which party could not make a mistake for such a big order like this.
The best way to not make a mistake was to remain calm and peaceful. If they wanted both parties to be calm and peaceful, then they simply should not have any interactions. Eevonne has agreed to switch her with another person anyway. Eevonne was even willing to resign for the sake of the company's benefits, let alone switch her with someone else. There certainly would be no problem on Eevonne's end. She would obey very well. Dash absolutely would not want to see Eevonne as well, would he not?
The director was even waiting for Dash to express his gratitude to him by saying,'
Thank you. That's what I have in mind as well.'
However, what he did not expect was that Dash suddenly said, "No, Mister Cadigan! We are not that unreasonable. Eevonne was the one who was originally in charge of liaising with our company and also these orders, right? Then it’s still going to be Eevonne now. There's no need to change."
