Aino asked,"... Uncle Kingston, what does killing two birds with one stone mean?" After all, the little girl's vocabulary was still not developed fully yet.
Kingston replied, "It means...” Just as he was about to explain it to the little princess, he noticed the cold expression on his young master's face from the rear view mirror. He immediately kept his mouth shut.
Kingston had learned how to read his master's expression well, but the princess did not seem to have that skill. When she saw that Kingston had not answered her question, the little girl turned to her Stinky Dad and rolled her eyes, asking, “Let me ask you then, what does killing two birds with one stone mean?"
At that moment, Aino no longer relied on her father's embrace like she did back at the old residence. In fact, she did not even feel like calling him daddy now that i t was just the two of them. She even felt a bit angry for some reason. Even when her father was such a fierce person, there were so many women out there trying to get him. 1
Aino hated that!
When Sebastian saw the disgruntled look on the little girl's face, he did not know whether she had wanted to laugh or cry.
Instead of answering Aino, he retorted with another question, "Why did you do that to Frost?”
"Because she wants to marry you!" Aino said without any hesitation.
"Then why did you put that hat on Selene?" Sebastian asked, despite already knowing the answer.
"She wants to marry you too!" Aino yelled.
"So, you lied to Frost and framed her. Then you just stood back and enjoyed the show when those two women had started fighting?" Sebastian asked with some interest.
"Hmph! It's their own fault for wanting to marry you! You can only be my mother's, no one else can take you away!" The little girl’s tone was imperious.
Though Sebastian was frustrated, he managed to force a smile. He then asked coldly, "So you want your mother to marry me?"
Aino was suddenly caught in a daze.
Did she want to?
