Sabrina turned around to look at Sebastian with eyes widened in awe.
Sebastian's icy expression remained unwavering. " There is no possible way to take a driving lesson for someone as horrible as you, is there? A mere driving lesson can have you screaming at the top of your lungs, could you be held responsible if you end up bumping into someone or scaring people around you? Your life isn't worth that much, but my daughter cannot be motherless!"
Sabrina knew the man was ruthless but she never truly expected him to be this mean. She gave up on the notion to argue as she knew she wouldn't win against the man, and instead changed the subject. "S o...which of these trainers will be training me?"
"Me!" he scoffed.
Once again, Sabrina found herself rendered speechless as she silently judged the man before her, thinking, 'This guy just has too much money in his hand for him to spend twenty thousand just so that he can do stuff himself, what's wrong with him?’
Sebastian was not fooled by her silence and snorted," Stop judging me! There wouldn't be one trainer in the South City you can find who would teach someone as stupid as you, so I can only do it myself! Since we are using someone's property to train, it's only reasonable
that we pay a respective fee. Besides, your license is still going to be issued by them, does it make sense not to pay?" i
What he truly meant to say but refused to admit was that he would not allow any male trainer to be in close proximity to teach her, and would probably skin that man alive if it ever happened. But he knew that it's not possible to forbid Sabrina from driving altogether. He would only be more and more caught up with work in the foreseeable future and would not be capable of driving her and Aino to and from the kindergarten, so the only solution was to take the time to teach her himself.
Sabrina gaped at the man for even so much as mentioned the word "reasonable". Wasn't he just about the furthest existence from anything reasonable? But she immediately recollected herself and refrained from judging him; Sebastian was far too unpredictable for her to handle. He seemed to know everything there was to know about her, while she struggled to comprehend what he was thinking most o f the time. 1
Just as she was still caught in her own thoughts, Sebastian pulled two enormous bags from the back of his car and handed one over to her. "Go and get changed in the ladies' room."
Without looking into the bag, Sabrina figured it was clothes and took the bag with her to the restroom. She found a set of white cotton-made hoodie and matching sweatpants that came along with a pair of flats. Everything fitted perfectly and was extremely comfortable. It got Sabrina thinking how odd it was that Sebastian never seemed to inform her ahead of time before purchasing any clothing for her, but somehow managed to find them in the perfect size, precise down to the millimeters. She thought back to the past few times that she had asked him how he came to learn her measurements, he would always give the same answer. "Which part of you is there that I don't know, or that I haven't touched?" 1
Learning from experience, she knew better to ask questions, but was still taken by surprise when she saw herself in the reflection of the restroom mirror. Her outfit was simple yet stylish, made with fine materials and craftsmanship. She had to admit that the man possessed exquisite taste. Every single outfit that he had picked out for her thus far matched her looks and aura perfectly.
