Sabrina stepped into the walk-in closet and instantly faced the struggle of deciding what to wear. Sebastian had bought countless outfits for her, most of which were from luxury brands, but who was she to dress grandly to the old Ford residence? The mother of Aino Scott? Her train of thoughts was then interrupted when she remembered Sebastian's reminder for her to dress prettier, that was the moment when she knew she had to dress up even if it was just for her daughter's sake. A visit to the old Ford residence was different from a normal day at work and she had to focus on being presentable for Aino, i
Sabrina picked out an outfit according to her favorite style: a white turtleneck cashmere sweater along with a long leather shirt with an orange tone. The cuttings were rather common, but when put together, they somehow created a contradiction between innocence and character. It gave her a look that was both elegant and simple, with a hint of the alluring charm of a mature woman. She then went ahead to match the outfit with a pair of high-heel boots and tied her hair i n a high bun which visually enhanced her height and slim figure. Especially with the white turtle-neck cashmere sweater, Sabrina's neckline was emphasized, giving her the resemblance of a swan that lived in a fairytale. It was shockingly astonishing for an outfit with such simplicity to represent her beauty so perfectly at the same time. The lack of
accessories might make the look seem dull had it been worn by someone else, but Sabrina had managed to showcast the sensual elegance of her feminine side with the outfit.
When Sabrina stepped out of the walk-in closet, Sebastian's eyes widened in awe at the sight before him. His eyes were filled with possessiveness so intense that his mind was instantly overwhelmed with obsessive thoughts. He thought back to every single occasion he was asked to pay a visit to the old Ford residence. The residence was filled with guests more often than not and at the very least, he knew that his cousin Nigel would be present. He could hardly contain the urge to tear any man who would lay eyes on Sabrina into shreds.
"What's wrong?" Sabrina whispered as she lowered her gaze to the ground.
"Change into something else!" he insisted.
"Is this not grand enough for the occasion?" She knew the outfit might have been too plain, but she simply didn't care for wearing anything that would make her stand out from the crowd. She most certainly did not want to grab the attention of anyone, especially to places like the old Ford residence where she had been humiliated before. Sabrina studied Sebastian's aggressive expression and thought back to how caring he had been with Aino. She gritted her teeth in resignation and headed back into the walk-in closet to change. This time, her outfit was decorated with countless accessories that practically screamed the word "expensive", and Sabrina walked out of the walk-in closet looking like a high-born duchess that looked down at everything and everyone around her.
Sabrina chewed on her lower lip as she fought the reluctance she had over dressing up in this sort of style. It wasn't that she hated the clothes, but she simply couldn't shake the feeling that she wasn't worthy for something this luxurious. A sarcastic thought appears at the back of her head earlier, whispering to her that only egocentric women with a powerful background like Serene Lynn or Ruth would dare to dress in such an ostentatious outfit.
'Would Sebastian be willing to support her as the man behind her?' she thought.
And as she had anticipated, Sebastian commanded without hesitation. "Another!"
"I told you I didn't want to go," she whined, "but you just keep insisting-"
Before Sabrina could finish, Sebastian took one long stride towards her and lifted her up. She reflexively tried to push him off and punched him against the chest. "What...what do you think you are doing! Aino is going to see us, you..."
But no matter how hard she tried to escape, she was n o match to those steel-like arms of his. Eventually, he carried her into the walk-in closet and kicked the door close behind him, before setting her down and pinning her up against the wall.
"What...what are you doing?" Sabrina stuttered frantically. Just as she contemplated as to how the man could suddenly turn into a ferocious beast, Sebastian was already working to unbutton her clothes.
