Though her question had indeed carried undertones o f provocation, it actually sounded more like a wife lecturing her husband of many years normally.
Nevertheless, Sebastian Ford was no ordinary man. After all, any woman who managed to get his hand in marriage would think of it as the greatest accomplishment of their entire lives.
Who in their right mind would dare interrogate this man with such a tone?
By contrast, Sabrina seemed to be at ease as she poked at the sleeping bear.
Everyone else watching could only hold their breath anxiously.
Meanwhile, Madeline, the woman who had wanted to give Sabrina the Green Mountain coffee, stood among the crowd with a smug expression.
'Just how arrogant can Sabrina be? She has only been declared as Mrs. Ford two days ago. Just two days! Countless couples divorce each other even after decades of marriage, and yet, she's already starting to let her newfound fame get to her head after such a short time,’ she thought to herself.
Madeline awaited excitedly for Sebastian to teach her a lesson for crossing the line.
However, to everyone's surprise, the question didn't seem to annoy Sebastian at all. Instead, he even coaxed Sabrina patiently, "I'm busy with work during the day and spend the entire night taking care of you, s o where on earth would I get the spare time and energy to even look at other women?"
Silence fell over the office as everyone there tried to process what they had just heard.
Though Selene's eyes had started to redden in humiliation and sadness, she was still too intimidated by Sebastian to say anything.
"Selene, did you hear what my husband just said? I assume your ears work just fine?"
Sabrina gazed into Selene's eyes. Sebastian, deciding t o follow her lead, turned his attention to Selene as well. The two then stood quietly as they waited for her answer.
Like a prisoner under interrogation, she caved in and muttered, "I heard him."
"So your ears work fine, then?"
"Yes."
"Very good!" Sabrina sneered even more haughtily.
"I want you to continue paying attention to what I'm about to say, then.
