Ryan turned to look at Marcus with an annoyed expression. "Shut up! I'm trying talk to my staff member."
After that, without regard for the receptionist’s earnest admiration, he immediately changed his tone and said, “Girl, let me tell you this. If you ever think about such nonsense again at work, I’ll definitely fire you! From now on, do your job well. Don’t fill your head with romance and whatnot!"
The receptionist responded meekly, "Yes, Director Poole.”
When he saw Ryan hanging up the phone, Marcus started to ask again, "Are you still going to compete with your Uncle Sebastian then?"
The flustered Ryan replied, "Get out of here!"
"This is my car!" Marcus snapped back.
The fact that he was right left Ryan speechless.
After a few seconds, he declared with his teeth clenched, "I, the little young master of Poole family, will reluctantly sit in your car!"
Though Marcus did not know how to react himself, the two of them decided not to bring up anything else related to getting out of the car.
Even though they owned the firm outside, these
legitimate partners did not dare drive the man, who had neglected his main job to trouble one of their employees, out of the building.
Meanwhile, that same man was still upstairs at the design department doing his best to please Sabrina.
Every onlooker who saw the interaction between them was truly stunned.
In fact, they were even starting to get dizzy from watching the public displays of affection from the couple.
They could only watch on dumbfounded as Master Sebastian, whose name could make South City tremble in fear, continued to dote on his pampered wife.
The man who had always looked so calm and serious.
