Coral smiled sinisterly. "What do I intend to do? Sabrina, what have you been doing all these years? It must be tough, being in that line of business, right? The rich girl in South City told me a lot about you.”
Sabrina immediately asked, "Selene Lynn?"
Coral’s smile grew even bigger, "You’re smart, but you stayed in her house and ate her food. I heard that your mother was a servant in her house, so who knows how she serviced the man of the house? 1
"With your lowly status, how could you have the audacity to refer to your master by her name? It’s no wonder that your master Selene resents you so much!"
"What did Selene tell you?" Sabrina shouted furiously.
"She told me to hand you over to her the moment I see you sticking your head out in this town.
"Aren't you aware of the debt you owe her? Sabrina, you made a grave mistake. As your cousin, it's my responsibility to teach you a lesson!” Coral spoke in a condescending tone, like a parent disciplining their naughty child.
Since she was here alone today, Sabrina knew it would be hard for her to escape from this situation.
Her only option was to buy time. 1
Without Coral noticing, she slipped her hand into her
skirt pocket, and opened up WhatsApp on her phone. Then, using her muscle memory of the keypad
positions, Sabrina tried to type a message to Sebastian.
Its contents were brief. 'Dear.'
Then she sent him another message, 'SOS'.
At that moment, she wasn't even sure whether she had typed in the right word, but she couldn't just take her phone out to check.
After she sent the two messages, she started arguing with Coral instead. "I don’t care if you’re my cousin! This is my house! If you try to stop me again, I’ll call the police!"
Without wasting a second, Sabrina pulled out her phone to dial 911.
