The driver immediately stopped talking.
He was so shocked by Coral’s fierce tone that he couldn't say a single word.
All he could do was stare at Sabrina.
Seeing the look on his face, Sabrina said gently, " Thank you, sir, please wait for me in the car. I’ll pay you once I've dealt with the matters here.”
"Alright, alright, Miss." The driver had no choice but to return to his car.
Then, she turned to look at Coral with a vicious expression. "Who was the one who told you such things about me?"
Were the Lynn family here?
Sabrina wasn't worried about anything else, not even the compensation fee. As long as she managed to find some of her parents' old belongings and get people to retrieve their buried remains, she would be satisfied.
Meanwhile, Coral lifted her eyebrow and turned her attention to Sabrina again, her lips curled up in a sneer.
In the past five or six years that Sabrina had spent on the run, the Lynn family had come to the village a few times. Every single time, they would contact Coral without fail.
Until now, she still remembered that when the Lynn family had first come to this county town, their daughter Selene had visited her karaoke center. When they spoke with each other, Selene found out that Coral was Sabrina's cousin, while Coral herself began learning more about what Sabrina had been up to.
That was the first meeting between Selene and Coral.
Initially, Selene had planned to kill Sabrina, thinking that she was hiding in this town. However, after having to leave without finding even a trace of Sabrina, Selene decided to continue keeping in touch with Coral.
She needed Coral's help to report Sabrina’s whereabouts to her, after all.
On the other hand, Coral immediately agreed, feeling like she had won the lottery for getting to know a rich girl like Selene.
