Alex enjoyed how his woman was struggling. His lips curled into an evil smirk behind her. Luckily, Jane was an exceptionally gracious woman and successfully maintained her gentle smile as she looked over at Sabrina.
On the other end, Sabrina was laughing with her head buried in Sebastian's arms. She stomped her feet in embarrassment. "How could this be?? How could it?? I'm so embarrassed. I...how could I miss all of the targets? Oh..."
She had never bragged to anyone before. Sabrina had always been a mature person who would never utter a word about something she was uncertain of. Today, she was overwhelmed with joy to learn how Sebastian treasured her, enough to prepare her and Aino for the future and even going the distance to bring all individuals of high management over and introduce her to them. Though she cried earlier because she was worried about Sebastian, part of it was out of joy. In the end, she got carried away from the mind-numbing happiness and made a fool of herself. How embarrassing!
She hid in his arms and thought, 'I might as well stay hidden and never come out to face anyone anymore!'
Little did she know that her careless bragging and the result of her missing all targets had amused all of the
managers that were watching. They were all smiling, a s they finally realized why the Director had started smiling in the past months. His expression became peaceful and he no longer mentioned killing easily. It was no wonder considering that he had a wife so adorable and down-to-earth. The managers slowly backed off and disappeared into the distance, even Kingston went with them. Soon, there were only two pairs of couples left in the ten thousand square meters shooting range.
"Alright, they are gone," Sebastian said to his wife in a low hoarse voice.
"Really?" Sabrina poked her head out of his arms gingerly and looked around. Indeed, there were only four people left in the shooting range. The other two that remained were standing in the far west, approximately a hundred meters away from them.
"Now, do you need me to teach you or not?" he asked.
"Of course I do! I'm definitely going to master this! One day, I will reestablish myself in front of your subordinates! Come on, let's get started!" Sabrina said. She turned around to look at Alex and Jane, before cheering Jane on with her hand gesture. Jane's smile, too, was encouraging to her.
At the same time, the man behind Jane forced her head around and said, "You need to learn as well!"
Jane rested her head on Alex's shoulder. "Hubby, you know me, I don't really like this. I probably won't learn even if you try to teach me. You are asking me to
shoot at the targets, when even the sound startles me."
