Alex's expression darkened. "You haven't recovered yet and I am already feeling such a strong desire for you! Damn it!"
Moved, Jane giggled. "It's okay, Alex, it's been over twenty days. It's really not as bad as you think.
Besides, you kept feeding me ginseng and all sorts of supplements, my body has recovered long before this."
Alex narrowed his eyes. "Then why did you tell me that you don't feel comfortable in slim-fitted sportswear just now?"
The mention of slim-fitted sportswear had Jane casting a look over at Sebastian and Sabrina subconsciously. The loose sportswear Sabrina wore truly was beautiful. There were no accessories at all but still Sabrina managed to look amazing in it.
She pursed her lips and explained, "Alex, I...I just kind of envy the way Sabrina is. She has a proud soul and back when she hadn't made peace with Master Sebastian, she didn't care if she lived or died, though she submitted to him on the outside. She just didn't say it out loud. Her spirit is above everything, which is why she could be composed or careless whatever the circumstances required for her to be. The reason why she looks so beautiful in the loose sportswear isn't because of the clothing itself, but because of the natural beauty that comes from Sabrina. But I am
different." Jane paused for a moment with a gentle, but longing smile on her face. She then continued, "I a m older than Sabrina and more mature in comparison. If I put on clothings that loose, it might look too pretentious and overrated. I might as well dress in slim-fitted clothes that are sexier. Women in their thirties are supposed to be peaking at their sexiness, so it probably wouldn't be appropriate to revert back into playing the innocent card. Right, hubby?"
The way she admitted with grace that she was a mature woman went to show how boundlessly mature she was to Alex. He loved this most about her, how she never caused trouble and remained submissive. Jane had been with him for almost six years now and not once, did she ever cause any problem. She was both understanding and sweet.
Almost immediately, Alex felt sorry for her and asked, "Are you tired?"
"Yes." She nodded, before shaking her head hurriedly and said, "No, I'm not tired."
"Let's go."
"Sebastian!" Alex shouted across the shooting range at Sebastian, "your sister-in-law isn't feeling so well lately. She is tired, so I'm taking her home for now!"
Over on the other side, Sebastian nodded, and with that, Alex hurried out of the range with Jane in his arms. He truly wanted Jane to rest. However, right after they went into the car, Jane pressed on one of the buttons on the remote control platform before Alex could do anything. Instantly, a sound-proof partition rose and separated the back seats completely from the front, so that the driver wouldn't b e able to see what happened at the back. The driver was sensible enough to continue driving, regardless.
The road into the mountain was sinuous and bumpy with a steep slope downward. Jane swung from one side to the other on Alex's lap in the car, switching from wrapping her arms around his neck or straightening up and holding onto the handrail from time to time. The two entwined closely, both lost track of how long the car had been moving.
Right at the bottom of the mountain where it was quietest, lied one of Alex's mansions. The mansion was guarded with heavy security, but only two maids.
