To be honest, the woman in front of him was very different from how she used to be. Before this, her style of dressing used to be mature yet slightly sexy, Alex’s favorite. But today, she was dressed in lively, bright colors, which was eye-catching, and yet not losing her hint of maturity and sexiness. There was an extra layer of energy and vitality. She kept herself in good shape. Dressed like this, she didn’t look like a woman who was already in her thirties. Instead, she looked like a pretty and delicate young lady.
Alex felt a hug at his heartstrings. With a smile on his face, he said warmly, "You look beautiful in anything.”
Jane smiled. "Alex, Sabrina, and I are going shopping now.”
Alex only nodded. She rarely left the house. Back home in Kidon City, countless rich ladies wanted to go shopping and have afternoon tea with her, but she always refused, hardly venturing outside. She was only willing to go when he had a function to attend and would bring her along. Hence, Alex was surprised to hear her say she was going shopping with Sabrina and Aino.
He could tell she liked Sabrina a lot. What was this? Birds of the same feathers flocking together? She enjoyed her peace and kept to herself often and Sabina even more so. That could be why the two
women got along so well.
Alex took out a black card from his wallet and handed it to her. "I'm older than Sebastian, and Sabrina is younger than you. As her elder, you should pay for her."
"I will." Jane accepted the card.
"Don't stay out too late. You haven't been feeling very well recently, so don't tire yourself," Alex reminded her. Somehow when she was dressed like this, he felt a s if she could be snatched away by another man at any moment.
"Alright!" Jane smiled gently.
