"What nonsense is that!" Hearing Sabrina’s words, Natasha jumped up in anger and pointed at her. Lincoln's fingers were almost poking into Sabrina's face. "You shameless woman! How can you be so brazen..." 5
"Swoosh!"
Out of nowhere, a knife appeared in Sebastian's hand. I t was a short and yet an incredibly sharp knife, but it glowed coolly in the light. It was clean and dry, without a single speck of blood on its blade. And yet Lincoln’s finger that was almost poked into Sabrina's cheek fell to the ground soon after the swoosh of the knife was heard. Sebastian's actions were incredibly fast. So fast that Lincoln did not even feel the pain even though his own index finger had been cut off.
By the time he recovered, Sebastian was already hugging Aino into his arms, a hand covering her eyes and the other on her ear, not letting her see or hear the miserable situation. Then he left, carrying Aino in his arms.
Lincoln wailed in pain and agony. "Ouch...my finger! M y finger is gone!!"
Sebastian had already left the room. He handed Aino over to Kingston who was waiting outside.
Kingston was shocked. "Master Sebastian, what
happened?”
Sebastian's tone was gentle. "Nothing." He was worried the child would be afraid. She was just six years old, so he should not scar his daughter mentally. However, he knew the little girl was used to situations like this. In the five years she lived in exile with her mother, she did not get to see much of the world. Instead, she often got into fights and scuffles to protect her mother. That was why, at that moment, Aino was not afraid at all.
Her tone was relaxed and easy. "Daddy, nice move! I've long since wanted to beat that stupid old man from the Lynn family until he cried. We weren’t well prepared this time. Next time, I'll prepare two hooks, and the moment we see that old man, I’ll hook his nostril and hang it from a rope. I'll hold on to that rope, and make him cry from the pain. This way, he won’t keep calling my Mommy a little bastard."
