Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared novel Chapter 115

Since she denied it, Charlie decided not to argue with her about it.

He looked around the room – the scant amenities could be taken in at a glance.

"Where is Vivian staying? In the same kind of room?"

Anger bit at Nancy's nerves. So, he had followed her in order to find out where Vivian was staying.

With a sarcastic smile, she replied, "How could Vivian possibly stay in the same type of room as a nobody like me? She’s staying in a presidential suite. It has everything, a huge bed, it’s very comfortable."

Charlie's brows furrowed, "She stays in the presidential suite and leaves you in this?"

Nancy’s heart was bitter. She gave a self-deprecating laugh, "Yes, she is the second female lead, after all, it’s only fair she gets the presidential suite. Who am I? Just a stand-in who isn't even seen in the light of day, Young Master Firth…"

Suddenly, she got up, walked over to Charlie, and grabbed his wrist, "A person of your stature shouldn't waste your time here, it doesn't suit your status."

Saying so, she pulled Charlie off the bed and unceremoniously pushed him towards the door.

Charlie laughed softly, going along with her until they reached the door. Then, with a swift movement, he turned his wrist and grabbed Nancy instead.

"This place really doesn't suit a big shot like me, right, Mrs. Firth."

As soon as he finished speaking, he pulled Nancy out of the room and closed the door behind them with a loud "thud".

Nancy, staring at the closed door, was startled, "Charlie, what are you doing? My room key is still inside!"

Not just the room key, all her belongings were inside!

Charlie, holding her hand, started walking towards the elevator, "Don't worry, Tom will bring all your stuff over later."

"Hey, wait..."
