Sean saw Michael, Theodore, and the rest to the door after bidding goodbye.
As the car pulled away, Sean looked at the skyline in the distance and smiled meaningfully.
The seed he planted in Ocean City had taken root.
By the end of the night, news about Sean had reached Alexander and Mitchell.
"That bastard!" Alexander clenched his fists maliciously.
"I didn't think he could do something this dramatic."
"Yeah, it's terrifying." Mitchell nodded.
"Dad, this guy can't interfere with my engagement to Eleanor, but Dr. Lennon will probably be a huge obstacle if we want to take over the Carver family after we marry."
"That's right." The grim-faced Alexander nodded slowly.
"It's better to take this opportunity to get someone to get rid of him."
Mitchell instantly looked puzzled and said, "Get someone to get rid of him?"
Alexander grinned hideously and spoke in Mitchell's ear.
Mitchell beamed and gave Alexander a thumbs-up when he heard the plan.
"Dad, you're amazing."
"Now that you know, hurry up and do it."
