Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 16

By the car, Mia looked at her parents in the sun, cleared her throat, a sweet smile hung on her lips, and her eyes curved like crescents. "Mom, Dad, Andre and I are back."

Andre went to the trunk to get gifts. Coming over, he was taken aback by her smile. It was so sincere, sweet, warm, tender, and a little playful.

Andre's heart was touched. It was hard for him to show a smile to his family that was sincere and not filled with social pleasantries and falseness. But for her, it seemed easy as pie.

Mia ran to her mother and embraced her parents tightly with open arms. Andre, carrying the gifts, also followed.

"Come inside. It's too hot outside," Aaron ushered everyone in.

In the living room, Mia began to share her life with the Cedillo family. "Mom, Dad, I just realized how free life was after marriage. I could sleep until whatever time I want, and Andre didn’t mind."

Andre didn't say anything, just smiled slightly, using his smile to confirm the truth of Mia's words. But in reality, he never spent the night in their matrimonial room.

Her act was believable, and she was back to her chatty self.

As a son-in-law, Andre couldn't stay silent. He asked, "Where's Cooper?"

Madison answered, "He's not on break from school yet."

Cooper was Mia's younger brother, 17 years old, studying abroad. The family didn't tell him about Mia's marriage.

Andre said, "I heard from Mia that Cooper wants to come back to college in our country."

Mia turned her head to look at Andre's profile, puzzled. When did she say that?
