Molly told her father to continue watching his movie before heading upstairs to find Andre. She was surprised when she discovered Mia's pajamas on the bed. "Andre, are you and Mia truly relocating to Maplewood Estates?" Molly asked.
Andre responded, "Mia is currently in the hospital. Molly, could you please check out the makeup products on her vanity? Could you identify the toners and lotions among them?"
Molly approached the vanity and began listing the products, saying, "These three are toners, two are lotions, four are serums, the large one is a face cream, and the small one is an eye cream. There's also a beauty device, a sleeping mask. The yellow bottle contains sunscreen, the purple one is a primer, and there's a concealer and cushion foundation."
Observing the array of cosmetics on the table, Andre concluded that his wife had a penchant for shopping. It was clear that she dedicated a significant portion of her finances to these products However, he possessed limited knowledge about skincare and was uncertain of the purpose of each product. He asked, "What are the basics of skincare?"
Molly responded, "Andre, who's Mia caring for at the hospital?"
Most people would assume that a hospital visit meant they were taking care of a sick person, not that they were the patient.
However, Andre clarified, "She's the one in the hospital."
Molly was taken aback, "Why is she in the hospital?"
Thinking about the joy of becoming a father, Andre happily replied, "She's pregnant."
Molly was so shocked that her eyes widened. She looked at Andre and asked, "Did you just say Mia is pregnant? Is she really pregnant? Your wife?"
Andre smiled happily, "Are you surprised?"
Molly answered, her voice filled with disbelief, "I'm really surprised." She felt like she could jump off the third floor just to confirm she wasn't dreaming.
Without delay, Molly rushed off to find Leo. Meanwhile, Andre started tidying up his wife's cosmetics.
Shortly after, a scream came from Leo's room. Less than three minutes later, he dashed into Andre's room in his slippers, "Uncle, is Mia really pregnant?"
Andre nodded, grinning, "Yes, she's pregnant."
Leo was speechless.
In a room at Mercy Hospital, the four of them chatted for an extended period. Cooper's lingering regret weighed heavily on his heart.
Later, Andre went to the hospital, accompanied by Molly and Leo.
Molly excitedly hugged Mia, exclaiming, "Mia, you're amazing. You're pregnant! I'm so surprised."
Mia patted Molly's back and said, "I'm the pregnant one. Why are you so excited?"
Molly was too excited to articulate her thoughts and placed her hand on Mia's belly, "Mia, how does it feel?"
Mia replied, "I don't feel anything."
Molly asked, "What's it like to not feel anything?"
Mia chuckled and replied, "I really don't know how to answer that question."
The four members of the Irvin family greeted the Cedillos. Leo looked at Cooper and said, "Cooper, I forgot to tell you, I'm your brother-in-law's nephew."
Molly also suddenly remembered to introduce herself, "Cooper, I'm your brother-in-law's sister."
Cooper said, "if there's anything else you haven't said, just say it all at once." His mood had turned very sour today.
By evening, Cooper went home with his father. Madison decided to stay at the hospital to take care of Mia, and Molly also wanted to stay to keep her company. Naomi, Hansen, and Bruce all left.
