Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 329

The crowd behind was getting more outrageous with their words, "Even though she's pregnant, her treatment didn't seem to improve. The Cedillo family didn't even hire a driver for her, she rides with Leo every day. I checked the dress she's wearing, and it's just over 200 bucks. Wasn't she flaunting last year about her million-dollar bracelet? Now she's wearing clothes that cost a few hundred dollars."

"Yeah, even her bags have turned into canvas bags. It's just been half a year."

Leo was fuming. Were these people blind?

Mia was carrying the Cedillo family's child. If the Cedillo family didn't care for her, why would they let him drive her around all the time, in a humbling manner? Was his status even lower than a driver of the Cedillo family?

They were all satisfying their own delusions, boosting their own self-esteem by belittling Mia.

Just as he was about to stand up, Mia suddenly grabbed his hand, "Sit down, and don't move. Let me hear what else they can come up with."

Molly was gritting her teeth. Her arm was resting on the back of the chair, and she listen carefully to what else these people could say.

"Do you think if she gives birth to a daughter, the Cedillo family will kick her out?"

"Maybe, but after all, it's still a child. They shouldn't kick the child out."

"I think if her first child is a girl, she'll rush to have a second one, ha-ha. She's so anxious now, even taking senior year courses. Probably she is worried that if she gives birth to a girl, she'll have to prepare for pregnancy during her senior year."

...

Whispers were rising and falling. After Mia got pregnant, her belly remained flat, and she wore thick clothes due to the cold weather, so it was hard to tell. As the weather got warmer, her belly grew larger. The whispers around her followed suit.

She had thought about what her classmates would say when they found out she was pregnant. She had thought about receiving blessings and about people possibly avoiding her. But she never expected to be gossiped about behind her back and be spoken of so negatively.

They were jealous of her status. Since they couldn't get it, they began to feel jealous.

Mia laughed a bit, saying to herself, "People always think that what they can't get is not good."

"This class is filled with a stinky smell; even rats can't stand it." Molly waved her hand, making a fanning motion.

In her class, some students noticed that Mia was pregnant, but they all confirmed in private and then gently congratulated her.

When Mia had morning sickness, everyone knew she was sensitive to smell. The students who usually brought breakfast to the classroom would eat outside, then come in after they finished.

Smokers would avoid Mia. The students who liked to mess around after class would stop when they saw Mia. Everyone kept silent, but they were all quietly mindful of their own actions.

It wasn't until she joined this class that Molly realized how considerate her classmates were.

"Molly, what are you babbling about?" One of the girl asked.

Molly looked at the girls who were addicted to gossiping, and scolded, "I'm talking about you guys. You're narrow-minded yet clueless, claiming grapes are white when you haven't even seen one. Don't you feel embarrassed saying such things? It's always the ugly people who like to make trouble and talk nonsense."

The people scolded by Molly tried to argue back, but they couldn’t find the words to rebuttal. Molly’s words were sharp and well-crafted.

Even Leo couldn’t help but praise Molly, "You're awesome!"

"It seems like some sewage has gotten into your brains. Remember to clean it out. Don't go around stinking up your friends." Molly said.

The classroom went dead silent, with only Molly speaking.
