Mr. Kendrick asked him straight up, "Why are you telling people that your sister is your girlfriend? Is that even appropriate?"

Chad was left speechless.

Coleen also chimed in, "You are being ridiculous, Chad."

Chad sat up on the hotel bed, rubbing his nose bridge and said, "They don't know Molly is my sister. Some colleagues see me being single and want to set me up. Some female friends are pursuing me. All of these make me uncomfortable. I don't have a girlfriend, so I use Molly as a shield."

Mr. Kendrick and Coleen still thought this was a poor excuse, "If you don't want them, just reject. It's not fair to Molly and she would be mad if she found out."

"Molly doesn't know anything." Chad said.

The couple was left speechless.

Chad added, "I didn't reveal Molly's identity, just told them I have a girlfriend. It won't affect her and I care about her more than you guys do."

Considering his son's character, Mr. Kendrick knew Chad was a responsible person. He calmly said, "Don't do this again, even if Molly doesn't get mad, your mom and I will."

"I'll be careful." Chad said.

They ended the call. Mr. Kendrick put down his phone and said to his wife, "I almost got a heart attack listening to him."

Coleen looked at her husband without saying a word, her heart filled with unease.

In another city, Chad hung up the call. Not long after, Molly's video call came in. He declined it and sent a message: [It's late, go to sleep.]

[It's not even 10 o'clock yet.] Molly said.

Chad: [I'll call you at 6am tomorrow. Let's see if you can get up.]

Molly was lying in bed, holding her phone chatting with Chad. They didn't video call, but they were texting.

In Mia's bedroom.

She lay in bed complaining to her husband, "Spring makes me sleepy, and I feel lazy in autumn. I am drowsy in summer and it is hard for me to wake up during winter. See, every season is a great time to sleep."

Andre came out of the bathroom. There was a towel wrapped around his waist, he was heading for the wardrobe, "So that's your excuse for sleeping till 3pm in my office this afternoon?"

Mia sat up and went to the wardrobe where Andre had already changed. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier? When I woke up, you were holding me and sleeping."

Andre glanced at her. "Did someone ask for your contact information at the library today?"

Mia fell silent. She had a sudden idea, "Honey, did Leo tell you?"

Andre smiled and asked, "Why didn't you tell me when I showed up today?"

Mia seemed to realize something, "Yesterday, the review session I had with Molly, was it Leo who told you? Because he secretly told you, you sent your dad to supervise us when we went to the library today!"

Mia finally got it. Andre was originally talking about the suitors, but Mia brought up yesterday's incident.

She went to the bedside table, and picked up her husband's phone. She unlocked it, and found his chat with Leo. Looked like the chat history was deleted.

She insisted on finding Leo, so she put on her slippers and left the room. Naomi saw her while she was fetching water outside, "Mia, where are you going?"

Mia replied, "I'm going to find Leo."

Naomi was a bit worried, so she followed her to her son's room.

Mia knocked on the door. Leo, who had just showered and hadn't dried his hair yet, opened the door, "It's already 9:30pm. Why are you looking for me?"

Mia angrily pulled Leo's hair, "Yesterday, you tattled to my husband and made him send Hansen to supervise my study today. Leo, did you do it on purpose?"
