Andre continued, "But that's not set in stone. Maybe I'll wait until you're done with your prenatal checkup before I go. Just giving you a heads up, the exact timing of my business trip is still up in the air."

Mia obediently nodded, wrapping her arms around Andre's neck and planting a kiss on him, "Honey, don't worry about me. I'll be good at home."

Andre gently tapped on Mia’s forehead, "You are the one I worry about the most at home." If it weren't for the inconvenience, he would love to take her anywhere he goes.

The next few days, all three of them were swamped with studying and exams. After two hectic weeks, they finished their last exam. They walked out of the examination hall feeling physically exhausted but mentally relieved.

Molly was about to start her two-month vacation.

Mia could now focus on preparing for the baby's arrival. She felt like she was about to start a very long vacation. She had already completed half of her third-year courses, and there would be basically no courses in the fourth year, it would all be internships.

Molly checked her timetable and found she only had a few courses left, so she told Mia, "Leo and I finished all our courses in our third year. We may not be able to accompany you to classes next semester. Can you handle it?"

Mia nodded, "No problem, you guys go ahead with your plans."

Her friends had accompanied her through the busiest semester, and she was already very touched. She couldn't let them delay half a year just to accompany her to class.

Molly had to go home because her long-missed brother was finally back.

Leo asked her, "Molly, do you want me to send you back?"

Two car horns sounded in the distance. Hearing the sound, Molly looked over. She saw a familiar license plate number. She hadn’t seen the person yet, but she was already smiling brightly at the sight of the car. She ran over excitedly, "Chad!"

Chad got out of the car, and just as he stood steady, he caught his sister who rushed into his arms. Having not seen her for days, Chad missed her a lot. He hugged her right there in the parking lot, "Are you confident about your exams?"

"I'm very confident." Molly nodded in his arms.

Seeing their sweet embrace, Leo turned around and asked Mia, "Mia, do you need me to send you home?"

Mia pointed to a parking lot in another direction, "No need, the person picking me up is already waiting."

Leo clapped his hands, "It seems like after our exams, we'll all go our separate ways."

Mia went left and Molly ran right. They both ran into their men's arms.

Under the scorching sun, Mia used her hand to block the sunlight. She walked to her husband's car, opened the door and sat in the passenger seat, "Honey, you've lost your touch."

Andre looked at his wife who started complaining as soon as she got in the car, "How did I go from being a great husband to not great?"

Mia said in a deliberately exaggerated tone, "Other people's husbands, when they see their wives walking towards them under the scorching sun, would passionately get out of the car to open the door for them. But you just sat in the car laughing at me, not even helping me open the door."

Andre was speechless.

Mia was stroking her belly, complaining, "I'm even carrying your child, and you let me open the door myself."

Andre walked over and buckled her seat belt, "We are husband and wife. The mundane life is the real one. I'm not here to act in a TV drama with you."

Mia looked at her husband. He was not romantic at all, and didn't sweet talk. But hearing his words, she couldn't help but smile. Married life was indeed mundane and real.
