Mia innocently said, "I used to enjoy the ice cream he bought me."

"How dare you talk to me about the past things between you?" Andre pinched her cheeks. "Who's your husband?"

"You, you." Mia tried to squirm away. "Andre, you're abusing me!"

Andre's throat bobbed, loosening his grip gradually.

Mia rubbed her face, darting away from him quickly.

Andre pointed at his hiding wife warningly, "Don't you dare spend other men's money."

He then pulled out a bank card from his jacket and laid it on the coffee table, tapping his finger on it. "This is your allowance. Five million a month. If it's not enough, just tell me. If I find out you're spending other men's money again, you won't get away with it."

Mia nodded fearfully but didn't move for the card on the table.

Soon after, an assistant arrived with a box of ice cream.

As Mia accompanied him out, she saw the variety of flavors in the box and was immediately overjoyed. "Trading one ice cream for a box of ice cream? Totally worth it!"

She instantly started digging into one.

Assistant: "Miss, this is our CEO's wife's."

Mia, with cream smudged on her lips, mumbled back, "Oh, right. I'm your CEO's wife."

The assistant gawked, astounded.

His boss married a student?

Right at that moment, Andre came downstairs.

Upon entering the living room, he saw Mia already digging into the ice cream, cream smeared all over her lips.

He picked up a napkin from the table and started wiping it off. "Why are you like a kid, eating with food all over your face?"

Mia shot him a glare. "None of your business."

Andre didn't reply, only feeling it was more pleasing to see her eating the ice cream he bought.

The assistant was left utterly stunned by the scene.

She started distributing the box of ice cream Andre bought for her. Upon seeing Hansen and the butler, she offered them some, "Dad, this is really good, you should try it."

Hansen was initially reluctant but was won over by Mia's enthusiasm and took a bite.

The ice cream was sweet and creamy without being cloying. It was cold, sweet, and soft.

"Mmm, not bad." This was Hansen's first time trying such a snack. He used to think they were unhealthy.

Mia also offered one to the butler.
