Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 778

Chad had planned to wake her up, but now he just sat on the edge of the bed, watching her sleep.

Mia had also risen early, carrying her hungry, crying son out the door while stifling a yawn. "Anya, you're not going to school, you're not going to work, and you're not even hungry. Why are you up so early?"

Anya, with her backpack on and clutching her laptop, replied, "Auntie, I'm heading out. I left some pasta for the baby in the dining room."

With that, she left, busier than those heading off to work.

Last night, Henry was supposed to sleep with his grandfather but ended up crying his way into his parents' arms.

Anya's daily routine: city library, Chad, baby—a trifecta of tasks.

Molly's daily life: work, home—a straight line.

Mia: her son, a single point.

Sometimes she would visit the office, bringing surprises for Andre, who was hard at work.

Leo often joined Anya after work to clean, buy mattresses, and bed linens. Anya also took down the dusty curtains and replaced them with a double-layered set: one layer of girlish white tulle for her and another layer of classic grey blackout curtains for Leo's straightforward taste.

Leo pointed at the curtains on the bed. "Why'd you buy these without telling me?"

Anya had her grievances too. "And did you tell me when you signed me up for the computer exam?"

However, Anya didn't know how to install curtains and needed a man's help. Holding the curtain rings, she called, "Chad, could you give me a hand?"

Removing the old curtains revealed dust everywhere.

Anya passed the curtains up, and Leo, wiping the rail with a damp cloth, hung the new ones. "One layer would've been enough; two is overkill."

"The white one's for me; the grey one's for you."

After hanging them, suddenly, the table Anya had ordered online also arrived.

Leo looked at her silently.

Anya bit her tongue. "There’s no table for Chad's books and computer."

Leo: "There's no sofa either. Planning to buy one?"

Anya whispered, "Already did, it’s on its way~"

Leo, hands on his hips, took a deep breath.

Seeing Chad about to tease her again, Anya hurriedly explained, "It's not a big sofa, just a single lazy boy chair, a big bean bag, really comfy."

"What else did you buy?"

Anya looked down, guiltily answering, "A dining table, tablecloth, lamp, floor mat... I pretty much bought everything the home goods store had."

After speaking, Anya received another delivery call. "Chad, the chairs have arrived~"

Leo, resigned yet content, said, "Anyone who has you as a customer sure hits the jackpot."

With that, he took Anya's hand, heading out to collect the deliveries.

The table and chairs required assembly, with Leo reading the instructions and handling the screwdriver, while Anya, nearly incapable of anything manual, seemed never to read instructions when shopping.

"Hand me the number three screw."

Anya immediately passed it to him.

She envied Leo’s handling of the screwdriver and took her turn to playfully engage.

Leo sat on the floor at the foot of the bed, indulging little Anya's play.
